We've been here numerous times on our stays in Orlando. It's a sight to see, to say the least...biggest church i've ever been in hands down. It's well maintained, has absolutely beautiful scenery inside and out, and a very nice gift shop. All of the staff seemed very friendly, no bad experiences with any of the people. All of the priests there however seem to give a very similar schpeel about "not worshiping the mouse"...i.e. obvious disney reference. It seems very scripted...i mean obviously people are down there because of Disney, but the fact they are GOING to church should let them know they are there for the right reasons...no need to overpreach about it.
Only real gripe is the money basket seemed to come around ALOT. I'm totally fine with donating to the church...but it seemed kinda pushed here. I'm sure it has to do with the insane cost that i'm sure goes along with the building and maintaining the grounds...but Orlando is a money pit as it is, so the church was kinda pushing it a little overboard. However a lot of churches (sadly) do this now a days so i will not make it out like this is the only church that does this!
Overall, a good experience - probably the most beautiful church I've ever been in and it's open to all religions. If you need a church away from home while on vacation, this is a great experience for you and the family.
