This is our 3rd visit to Disney MGM & we really do love this park as we think there are more attractions aimed at teenagers.
Rock 'n' Roller coaster is great, although not quite as good as the one at Disneyland Paris.
Terror Tower is fantastic. Try riding it in the dark, it's much more scary and atmospheric.
Fantasmic is simply the absolute best Disney show ever.
Back Lot Tours and the Stunt Show are also great fun.
This park can be easily be done in a day, but you would need a FULL day to do it properly.

We haven't been to MGM since last fall. What a difference in the park. The last time we went, there was not alot to do for my four year old. This time around, she had a blast and my eleven year old was bored.

MGM started a new series for the pre-school group. We saw some guy with puppets. Basil something or other. My daughter had seen the video and saw them on TV so she was in heaven. She also loved Little Mermaid, Beauty and Beast and Playhouse Disney.

They had the cars from the "Cars" movie driving down the street. They would stop and the kids could take pictures. The Power Rangers were out in full force. We took a ton of pictures with many types of characters including the Monster from Monster's Inc and Chicken little.

The shows were great for the five year old. My eleven year old enjoyed Tower of Terror and AeroSmith coaster. He and my husband also enjoyed the Indiana Jones show and the new Stuntcar show. But......thats about all they enjoyed. They got bored quickly with MGM.

We went during the Magic Kingdom magic hours so MGM was empty until around noon. We were able to knock out all the thrill rides and hard to get into shows before the crowds arrived.

If you want to stand in line to stand up and watch a trailer for Narnia then you should still go to this attraction. I would suggest typing in google "Narnia trailer" and sit down in your computer chair and you will have a better experience. Absolutely terrible.

This is based on experience compared to a dozen US theme parks, including all of the CA and FL Disney ones. First, MGM has less to see than the Magic Kindom or Epcot. If you start early, you can cover the whole park in one day. (We always need two days for the Magic Kingdom.) Next, it is a more "grown up" park than the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom.. There are only a couple of attractions for the under 6 crowd, but fortunately there are shows that appeal to all ages. Here our some of our favorites and one un-favorite:

Rock'n'Rollin Coaster: Favorite coaster of all the Disney parks

Tower of Terror: Fun, but not as scary as those rides that drop you from the top of a tower where you can see the ground below

Fantasmic: Don't mis this show. A Disney original.

Lights, Motors, Action Stunt show: Best stunt show with cars anywhere. (Watercraft part is pretty lame since the pool is so small.)

Indiana Jones Stunt show: Neat. Also surprising if you don't know what is coming.

Backlot tour. OK, but don't expect as much as Universal Studios if you don't want to be disapponted.

Journey Into Narnia: Walking into a snow (not real snow) covered forest was a surprise in the hot weather. After that, its mainly a movie trailer. Not at all like it was described, and by far the most disappointing Disney attraction we have ever seen.

I was expecting a lot from this park, I'd been to universal studios the first day of our holiday and loved it, so i was hoping this was going to be a great day out too...wrong!!! There is hardly nothing there to do!!! The millionaire show was great fun (But again for some strange reason this is closing soon!) and also the stunt show was good, but apart from that the rest was simply boring. Tower of terror is hyped up way too much.

You will find difficulty filling more than two hours here, let alone a whole day. I had the ticket which granted unlimited access to all disney parks, and will probably do the same next time, but i would still miss this park out. Orlando is an awesome holiday and there are much better things to do with you time, head for universal studios ( And shrek 4d!!!!)
