“New Fantasyland "Dress Rehearsal"!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

I have been to Disney World too many times to count...sometimes never entering a theme park at all, sometimes choosing one over another. I hadn't been to Magic Kingdom, which really is my favorite, in a while. As a vacation club member (also an annual pass holder), I received a call inviting me to a preview of the new Fantasyland scheduled to open Dec, 2012. I had a choice of either Belle or Ariel, and self guided tour of the yet to open restaurant.
My daughter and I received a wristband upon our entry and headed there at our scheduled time.
Parts were still under construction, but what we were able to preview was true Disney Magic at its best...More castles, attractions, and a restaurant that looks as if it can host an amazing affair.
Even though our experience was supposed to be limited to one attraction, everyone was able to do both.
Little Mermaid is very similar to California- bright and colorful. Ariel herself is beautiful ( and skinny!) and happy to greet her visitors.
The Beauty and the Beast story attraction was too cute, involving visitors to the library. And of course Belle is just as beautiful as Ariel.
I do foresee these attractions having long wait times, especially Beauty and the Beast, as only a few guests at a time can enter.
I'm sure Disney will figure a way to accommodate the crowds.
Regardless, make your way over to the new Fantasyland. You won't be disappointed.

“Fun for a few hours”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Fun for the first few hours but we left pretty early. Magic kingdom is more for kids and families but not really for couples and young adults who prefer more thrilling rides. Overall a nice day but a rather short one.

“Magic at the Magic Kingdom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Magic Kingdom is a wonderful park that truly has something for everyone. The mountain rides (splash, big thunder, and space) provide some thrills, while there are nostalgic rides for everyone (It's a Small World, Peter Pan), and some great newer rides, too (Winnie the Pooh). We loved it!

“great family time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Of course, 5 stars. We just had a great time with our toddler - and even though she knows none of the characters, she had a great time meeting them and loved the parades.

“Still a Classic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

This park continues to take your breath away - head to it on the paddle boat, its worth it. The park was under going some building work whilst we were there, but you weren't disturbed. Its a small world needs either doing up or closing down!! Park staff helpful - no dragon under the castle at this park. Ride queues easily beat if you use fastpass and plan in advance.
