“Best Hotel in the area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2010

This hotel is kept very clean, and it is so comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, but it gets very crowded so go early. They seem to have alot of large bus groups that stay at this hotel. But overall it was a great stay.

From the first step inside this hotel until the time we checked out was fantastic!
The staff was incredible, the hotel was clean & beautiful, great breakfast buffet, best location, they picked us up on priceline at an unbelievable price. Within walking distance of restaurants.
There was nothing bad about this hotel!

Stayed here because I had problems checking in next door at the Fairfield. The hotel has a nice in appearance and is only a year old, however there were problems.

The carpet in my room was stained and torn. The lighting in the bathroom with the shower is terrible. There is a second bathroom with just the toilet and sink which make using the bathroom confusing. Changing channels on the TV was very, very slow and not all the channels worked. The ice machine was broken. The AC thermostat did not work my room was freezing and I could not turn down the temperature. There is a very small half-depth refrigerator in the room and tiny microwave but no sink or counter space to go along with this.

The pool was very nice but is shared by the Springhill and the Fairfield. I can imaging that this gets very full in peak times.

Also the breakfast was adequate, however there is very limited seating - I really hate to think of being here in the Summer or other peak times.

I would not recommend this property. The Springill at LBV is older but nicer, with a better room layout, larger breakfast area seating, and staff that is better trained.

New, modern and nicely decorated hotel. Very polite staff (good housekeeping and hospitality)! Spacious rooms with sofa bed, large desk, 2 phones, microwave and mini fridge. (awesome plasma, easily accessible tv for plug in electronics), Plasma has 11 HD channels, HBO and 6 sports channels. No balcony. It can be noisy at times (slamming doors; during day and people checking out at 5am). Pool, fitness room, lounge, bars ect and hot tub are shared with with Fairfield Inn. Across street from SeaWorld, and fast and easy 10 minute drive to Universal easy access to interstate). TGI Fridays and 24 hour drug store (CVS) within 500 feet. Hot continental breakfast has a wide selection to chose from (scrambled eggs, sausage pattys, waffle makers, oatmeat, cereal, bread, bagels, english muffins, blueberry muffins, juice, coffee, tea, milk. The pool is ideal for families and small children. Pool towels, breakfast and wireless highspeed internet (lite) are complementry. Nice safe area outside of downtown core but still close. Pizza hut, poolside bar, lounge bar and starbucks onsite. Parking is free. All in all would definately return to this hotel.

Really close to Seaworld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove! Nice breakfast buffet (fruit, yoghurt, waffles, danish, muffins, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, juices), large rooms and super comfortable beds. Shuttle service to Seaworld and Aquatica. Separated bathroom with sliding doors. Stayed there for 5 nights and would stay again.

This is a good hotel for kids. The rooms are spacious and we were able to get a room with two beds and the pullout couch is nice for the 3rd child to sleep on. The breakfast was nice with several choices but very crowded and the kitchen could not keep up with replenishing the food fast enough. The kitchen did keep putting food out for the customers in line even though the hours of the breakfast had ended. The pool was very nice with a zero entry level, built in water toys and plenty of chairs. There is also an outdoor area to order pizza and drinks. There is an indoor coffee shop which converts to an evening bar and also serves food. Overall it is a nice hotel, the rooms were clean, there was a laundry facility on our floor, and was fine for a few days while visiting Sea World. I would stay here again and would definitely stay at another Springhill Suites for the spacious room that can accomodate a family of 5.

The hotel is new and adjacent to their partner hotel, the Fairfield Inn by Marriott which is also new and share the same pool, game and exercise room. Both hotels have a great view of Seaworld and are in a great location.

When we arrived, we got an early check-in. The people at the front desk were friendly and followed up with us during the 1st day of vacation to make sure we had what we needed in our room. The room itself was clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast every morning was included. At the time of this post, it was Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. After several days, it gets boring, but hey, at least they feed you.

Overall, a great stay and a reasonable rate for the summer.
