“Nice but never again...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

We checked in the day before Thanksgiving. There were 2 adults and 2 children.
Pros:
View of SeaWorld
Free breakfast
Free shuttle to SeaWorld

Cons:
Room was very drafty. You could hear the wind whistling through the window.
Beds very uncomfortable
Alarm clock was so bright.
Not walking distance to SeaWorld.

All in all we will most likely not stay here again. We usually stay the Renaissance just across the street from SW. It is so worth the extra $.

Hey Everyone,

Our family stayed at Fairfield Inn Seaworld. We defiantly enjoyed our trip. There were a few things we enjoyed and didnt like. Not every place is perfect! Especially hotels. We primarily stayed at this hotel because of SeaWorld Package. It was very economical with tickets plus because you stay at the hotel you get Quick Que for FREE! Which was great because we didnt have to wait at all in any of the rides for Sea World.

Cleanliness: The room was in ok condition. Very nice décor. We stayed in a standard room with a side view of SeaWorld. Immediately I saw something on the wall next to the lamp adjacent to the bed. We found a fake eyelash on the wall which to me was disgusting. The light switch in the bathroom was dirty, as it was nice wiped clean. The rugs seem clean, furniture was in good condition. The fridge was excellent although it did freeze our drinks, but that was ok. Other than that it was ok.

Housekeeping: We needed extra towels and we received them in 15 minutes or so. Also, extra toilet paper and they were quick at that too. We asked for a playpen and they brought it up in a hurry as well. I must say I was very impressed with the condition of the playpen. It was brand new! Never used and they assembled it for us and brought extra blankets along with. Was very happy with that. :)

Attitude of Staff: The front desk was very pleasant, we had no issues. Staff always said good morning to us each day. Moreover, When we checked in my husband asked about the Quick Que and where we can access the passes, and they stated that we needed to walk to SpringHill the neighbor hotel which is from walking distant took us no more than 1-2 minutes to walk over there to get the Quick Que passes. Our major issue was trying to get the Quick Que passes. We walked to the counter and requested the tickets and a staff member “Keily” stated that we cannot get the tickets because they have a Christmas party that she needs to attend to and so the counter was now closed, when she was still there. Seemed wrong to me however we proceeded to tell her that they don’t close till 8pm and she said sorry, our systems are down anyway. It was just excuse after excuse. We didn’t get our passes and we needed to come back the next day as she told us “you can call me and I can hold the tickets” but she never answered the phone anyway. That was the worst customer service ever. Since when is a Christmas party an excuse to not be able to obtain passes? Was truly a waste of time and disgusted.

Breakfast/Food: The hotel offers free breakfast at the hotel. It was an excellent experience. We did go to the earliest time which was 6:30am, and it was a breeze. Very clean and staff was readily available to assist with anything. The staff was always cleaning tables and making sure everything was in order. The staff even gave my kids SeaWorld stickers and they loved it! Great experience.

Overall, Hotels are Hotels. We treated it as we are only sleeping here. So let’s leave it as that. If I can change some things it may be the curtains they did give us a hard time of closing fully, the eyelash on the wall, And the attitude of the staff member Keily. Other than that it was ok.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces SeaWorld. You can see the fireworks at night.

This hotel was recently refurbished so everything is in great condition. The rooms are comfortable, the wifi worked flawlessly, the beds are comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The front desk was very helpful holding one of our parties bags until he could return to collect them. The breakfast is a little light as they have a rotating menu which other Fairfield’s in other parts of the country have more than one offering for breakfast. The pool looked great but we were on business so did not get the chance to use it. There was a TGIF located across the parking lot that offers delivery and is open late. I would return to this property.

Would never stay here again. The front desk staff is rude and act like you're bothering them when you ask them a question. The heavier curtains don't go across the window so everyone can see in. I asked when the next shuttle for Sea World was coming this was around 4pm I was told that the last shuttle of the day left at 3:30 when Sea World was open until 11pm that night. And the water in the sink and shower smelt like someone pooped in it. There's is a reason this hotel is cheaper a bad reason. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Had a great holiday, hotel was fine, nice and clean. Used shuttle once although had a car, it worked well. It is possible to walk to seaworld but to do it safely on footpaths and crossings its more like a 20 minute walk, but easily doable. I read on here somewhere about the hotel being noisy, this happened to us as our room was in the midst of a trip of teenage cheerleaders, 3 nights with little sleep , but on the 3rd complaint, we were moved to top floor, it was nice and quite there.

what a great place to stay that isnt Disney. we arrived on time and our room wasn't ready. so the kids went swiming while we sat and watched. about a half hour went by and still nothing. but they did give us a $25.00 credit at the bar for all the trouble. finally we got into our rooms about an hour and half late but it was worth the wait.. clean rooms and a great staff.. would stay again

Nice stay, no complaints. Rooms were very clean, same as the pool. No problems with shuttle, worked perfect for us. Don't forget stop by Spring Hill Suites, next door ( they share pool) to get tickets to skip lanes at Seaworld, would make your day better at the park.
