First time here and was the best! Very clean room. Very courteous staff. Loved their attention to details. The pool area is very nice, but the service there is too slow. Their breakfast is average not so many varieties but tastes so good. I loved my stay there and would recommend it very much!!

Room Tip: Rooms with a pool view are perfect. You can even watch the magic kingdom fireworks from there.

Excellent Service, Cordial Staff.
FREE Shuttle Bus for all Disneyworld Attractions.
One Minor Detail DON'T have breakfast buffet at Oscar's, Expensive and not a lot of food selection. Homemade maple syrup taste kind of funny.

Room Tip: Choose Rooms with Parks or Pool VIEW.

As an Orlando local I have to admit that even we like to visit some of the amazing hotels in the area. This hotel has become my go-to choice for a "stay"cation. I've stayed here several times now and it’s always reasonable (when compared to the other hotels on Disney property) and offers a very high level of service.

Pro's -
1. Location
2. Cleanliness
3. Service
4. beautiful rooms

Con's-
1. The pool can get very crowded on weekends...go reserve a chair early
2. Food/Drinks are somewhat pricey

The first time I commented on this hotel I gave an enthusiastically glowing review...but this time the Waldorf Astoria Orlando fell far, far, short of the standard of service, food, and attention to detail that prompted such a wonderful review of my last visit. My sister's suite stank of cigarette smoke upon their arrival...and it took the hotel a full 24 hours before doing anything substantive to correct it. Dinner at Bull and Bear was unthinkably disappointing...they didn't have roughly half of the items that we intended to order (items still listed on the menu, including their signature steak), and the steaks that we did receive were substandard and/or overcooked. This restaurant is a scandal ...I don't mind spending lots of money on a great dinner, but this was a disgrace. They left our luggage out, unattended, in the hot sun for at least two hours while they were preparing our room. Light fixtures in hallways were separating from the walls. Stains on the sofas in the rooms. My parents asked for extra wine glasses and were charged for them (this didn't happen last time). Granted, the last time we (my extended family) met at this hotel for a family get-together there was no conference going on, and this time there were two conferences, and so the hotel and staff were a bit slammed. This said, if you're going to call yourself a Waldorf - and charge Waldorf prices - then you need to provide the level of service and dinning that this brand is known for...which isn't even close to what we experienced. This place is just another Orlando area conference hotel with a fancy name...nothing more.

Was my husband's 65th birthday and wanted to get away for the weekend. Originally booked only one night but immediately after checking in, booked an additional night. Being local and having so many great hotels within 30 minutes, chose the Waldorf and what a great pick it was. Beautiful weekend for a special person.

Have been making plans for a year to take our daughter and 5 & 6 yr old grandkids to WDW and US for end of summer. Where to stay...where to stay? On property or not? I am confident that we ultimately made the VERY BEST decision! We commented on it almost every night. I had a King suite with Disney view balcony and an attached double Queen. It was perfect! We could see the fireworks going off every night "just for us". The pool was amazing and the grounds and interior stunning! The air conditioning was so good...which is hard to find in many big properties, but very important on the 12th floor of a huge one. Breakfast buffet was fabulous with fresh juice bar...watermelon, canteloupe, honeydew and more and the incredible honeycomb! The food in Peacock Alley and The Bull and Bear were all top notch. The staff, the staff....everywhere we went...so professional, smiling and attentive. The housekeeping staff were terrific and did a great job. I threw a curveball during the stay and booked a third regular King for a friend from Tampa two nights and switch out to a nephew from Miami the third. They would each be arriving on their days while we were off property. It was a little complicated...nothing but a smile. Everything was easy and pampering! I am soooo going back. I knew I loved the WA in NYC, but this is my new dream.

Room Tip: Choose a Disney view....every single night...in a relaxed mode in your pjs, you can watch the firewo...

One has to realize that this hotel adjoins Disney World and there will be children. The hotel is very nice. I have played on the well manicured golf course before. Plan in advance if your are dining at the hotel. The Bull and Bear is excellent and deservedly busy. Breakfast is chaotic. The hotel staff makes this place special. Connected to a convention center and many weddings and occasions may compete with individual attention.
