“Fantastic 14 Day Holiday in 4* Luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2011

Please dont be put off by the recent reviews this is a excellent choice of hotel/Apartment, we stayed for 14 days over Easter and had a fantastic holiday, i have stayed in loads of hotels all around the world and would say this is one of the best.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment in Tower 200 on the 12th floor overlooking the swimming pool, the view was great you can see for miles, what a view, the apartment had everything we wanted from 3 large flat screen tvs to dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer etc, i have 2 young lads who are 19 and 13 and found the space amazing, one of the bedrooms is a studio suite with a connecting door to the main lounge, this was great for him as he had his own space and kitchen/bathroom !! All of the fittings and beds are top quality and the bathroom is amazing, yes the aircon is a bit noisey but you get used to it.

The pools are fab with easy walk in access, my son is diasabled and we found this great. The games room is great for the kids with free internet, playstation, wii , pool table and loads of board games etc, their is a extensive entertainments program every day around the pool if you want it from scuba diving lesons, basketball shooting skills to
trivia quiz and kids pool games and for the adults wine and beer tasting in the cafe !!!
We ate in the cafe soleil 6 times and always found the food and service very good and not to expensive, the Market place was also good value for wraps and paninis @ $6.00 each as well as starbucks coffee and well as your general supplies and fantastic cakes.

I would recommend a car as the nearest restaurants are about 2 miles down the road, and taxis to downtown disney are about $14 each way, we went to all the disney and universal parks and found the location of the hotel easy to get to all of them with seaworld about 7 minutes and universal only 10 minutes drive, the hotel does run a shuttle bus between the Hilton properties and the parks and runs 4 times a day, but a car will give you more freedom etc.

We found the Parc Soleil a great place to stay and the staff were very friendly i would recommend the following,
1 or 2 bed apartment in Tower 200 with a high floor overlooking the pool, perfect !

We will be back,

Thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Room Tip: 1 or 2 bed apt in tower 200 with a pool view

Brand new hotel with great pool area. Super clean. King studio was small with no desk, but I had a nice view of the three spaces in the parking garage. If I were paranoid about my car, I could have stared at it from my room. The bathroom just had shower-- and toilets that sound like rockets taking off. I wouldn't stay in that hotel room again, but I might go back for a suite, if I could find it for around $120 or a two bedroom for around $170. Any higher price would be unreasonable because of the horrible location. It's a pain to get to from the parks, and you can't walk to anything.

It's supposed to be a non-smoking hotel with only a couple of designated smoking areas, but people smoked where they wanted outside without the staff saying anything. So much for that rule. The store is cute and not overly expensive. They have Staarucks coffee, latte's, etc.

The pool was clean and refreshing with little waterfalls, a nice slide, and lots of chairs.

Room Tip: Don't book a King Studio; Stay Above Floor 5

Don’t repeat my mistake – DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is horrible and in the middle of nowhere. Do not be fooled.

Forget the photos on Tripadvisor - your room will look nothing like this.
The so called “studio” is bare bones. You get half a window which DOESN’T OPEN and NO BALCONY !! Thus, you don’t have access to fresh air. The air conditioning in the ”studio” is so loud that I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights…

Moreover, we could hear our neighbors above us, and on either side, as well as loads of hallway noise..

There are NO UPGRADES !!! If you want to change the room, they force you to pay additional money…. $90 per 1 night – sic! So for 2 nights they wanted me to pay $ 180 – just for the upgrade !!

They don’t care if you are pregnant or not… I am pregnant – I couldn’t sleep in this room because of the lack of fresh air and very loud AC. They didn’t care… You can pay $180 and the you can change the room.. God !

The standards of the desk staff and management fall short of expectations… The only helpful person in this hotel was a technician who was trying to repair the AC and really wanted to help us when he saw that I’m pregnant.

Location: It’s literally close to nothing. There is nothing in walking distance. And there are thousands of disgusting bugs everywhere ☹ You cannot read even one page of the book at the pool because you keep killing bugs. It’s really disgusting.

One more thing: forget that nice bathtub with the ceiling faucet they show you - not available in the Studio.

Overall: it is 3-star hotel at most, but the studio room is definitely no more than 2 stars. Do not be fooled. Move on in your search. Good luck.

Room Tip: Do not be fooled.

Let me first say that t we are HGVC members w/ the Parc Soleil being our home resort and we are not a yearly Disney family . It was our first stay at the property and we were thoroughly pleased with our stay. We stayed in a spotless 2BR w/ a pool view (definitely a request worth the wait) . It was large enough for the 6 of us as we utilized the sofa bed). We stayed for 4 days prior to a cruise over Spring Break. The property was completely booked but it really didn't feel like it. There was plenty of room in the beautiful pools and it was fairly easy to find pool chairs.
Our children (ages 15, 13, and 11 year old twins) participated in various fun activities which mainly took place at the main pool. They also spent some time in the activity center playing ping pong, shooting pool, and just hanging out w/ new friends. The basketball court is quite a hike however.
We didn't eat on premises except for ice cream and wraps from the deli which were just fine.
I suppose to some the resort is off the beaten path, but for us we liked not having traffic 24/7 when we ventured out for dinner. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, just not in walking distance. Another plus, covered parking!!!
All in all, the Parc Soleil is a nice break from the typical Orlando resort and we are happy we are "owners" here!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this beautiful Hilton Resort. The staff were amazingly friendly and the accomodations were impecable. We stayed in a Two Bedroom Plus (which was a studio joined to a one bedroom villa) and our family of five had more than enough room! Our room was on the end and overlooked the lake and the pool area that had a gazebo type structure above the hot-tub. It was not far from the elevator.
I enjoyed cooking good meals for my children with the well-stocked full kitchen. The appliances were like ones that you would have in your own home (or even better.) The appliances were GE Profile. The adjoining room for the children had a mini-kitchen as well. We had lunch one day....pool side....that was fun! The staff always had games and activities planned for the children.
The bathrooms were large and beautiful! The master bedroom was huge and tastefully decorated. Our children, as well as the parents, were amazed at the large garden tub that filled by the water that fell from the ceiling. We have never seen something like that before! The showers had two shower heads and were large enough for more than one person. The toilet was located behind a sliding door with plenty of room.
The washer and dryer were of compact style, so don't plan on doing large loads at one time.
We visited the Universal Studios parks and Sea World. This resort is in a great location for these parks as well as the Disney Parks.
The resort has a water slide and several hot tubs with the zero entry pools. Everything was georgeous and clean! My husband enjoyed the workout facility. It was small but adequate.

Thank you for your wonderful comments about your recent stay and we hope if your travels bring you back to the area you make Parc Soleil your first choice. We do have future plans to expand our great resort on the vacant land adjacent to the towers however we are currently not under any construction.

Excellent service! Staff is really friendly, property is clean and better than I expected. Overall I would recommend staying there if you don't want to pay insane prices of the decent resorts on Disney property. There is a nice very kid friendly pool with a great slide, jacuzzi. There is one restaurant on premises but the food is yummy. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to do shopping, about 10 minutes to downtown Disney and about 20 to parks.
