“Wine and Food Festival - Great time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2010

We went to the Wine and Food festival today - what a great time! Lots of small plates of food, from $3-8 per plate, with recommended wine / beer / alcoholic pairings (from $5 - $10). About 27 different stations, setup by country. For example, the station for Poland had Kielbasa with Pierogies. My favorites are definitely the cheddar cheese soup from Canada, the braised short ribs from France, and the chocolate lava cake with Baileys sauce from Ireland. But there really wasn't anything bad! Only problem is that, much like appetizers, because you are eating small plates at a time, you feel like you could eat your way all the way around World Showcase - and spend a ton of money in the meantime.

“Magical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2010

Epcot is absolutely the most magical place we have visited... it has the charm of the old world Disney as well as the new world.... the exposure to different cultures is an adventure in itself.... we could have spent our entire vacation at Epcot and still could not have embraced it all... the food and wine festival was wonderful.

“Outdated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2010

We went for the Wine and Food Festival in Nov.09. We went on a free birthday ticket so we only paid for my husband. I hadn't been since 1984 and my husband was there even longer ago when EPCOT was still being built.
I can only say that the park was very outdated and overegrown. It was kept very clean as you would expect from Disney, but as much as I would like to go back again this year it's not at all worth $162 +tax for Florida Resident plus the $200 or more we would spend once in the park. Far overrated, we're going to Universal for 3 days instead.

“EPCOT DOESN'T DISAPPOINT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2010

My family and I recently came back from EPCOT, and once again we were not disappointed. From Maelstrom and Soarin' to Impressions de France and The American Adventure, you will love it. At the United Kingdom Pavilion, we heard the end of the Beatles tribute band and it's delightful. My 9 yo loved collecting all the stamps from the different nations. We enjoyed eating at the Tokyo Dining restaurant, and the Nine Dragons Restaurant. Very educational too. At the end is Illumination which almost brought me to tears it was so amazing and emotional.
