We stayed 3 nites with a group from work. Non stop party. I had the Rolling Stones suite and it was very nice to come back to the Hotel at 3am and order room service and contiue partying. Pool is great .Location close to City Walk and the parks.

"Does what it says on the tin". The hotel is good, very good if you're going to Universal Studios because you get an express pass to beat the queues. Everything clinically clean and fine, though if youre coming with a girlfriend etc. forget it, not at all romantic or characterful. But for everyone else, fine.

My family stayed at Hard Rock from 16-22 April 2005. We went with two other family's, so there was a total of ten kids in tow. Let me tell you, staying on site is soooooo worth the extra money you pay in order to avoid the ride lines at Universal and Islands of Adventure! The longest we ever waited was ten minutes....we rode the Mummy three times in a row without a wait!

Tha hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The kids loved the pool, and throughout the day they had kids activities there which the younger ones enjoyed.

We even felt safe enough to allow the older kids to go off on their own at the park (with a two-way radio)...when the adults had enough...or when the kids wanted to go back to the pool...we just met them there...it was great!

We walked to City Walk every night for dinner...really didn't have to wait that long for tables, considering there was 16 of us!

Ate one night at Emeril's (without kids)...VERY expensive...food was good, but I don't think it was worth the money.

I would recommend staying at the Hard Rock to anyone...and if you plan on spending a lot of time at Universal or IOA...you can't beat staying on site...after all...you wait a long time for vacations like these...make it as enjoyable as you can...it's worth the extra $$.

We had a fantastic time at the Hard Rock - 4/23-4/27 - We are a family of five, - 3 teenage boys - we stayed in a deluxe room which had plenty of room for us & very comfortable. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and pleasant. No problems at check in. The hotel is a quick walk to the parks and citywalks. Pool is great - just go early to get a lounge chair.
Staying on site definately is worth it - had a great time. Hotel was very clean and maintained. We loved it so much - can't wait to go back -
