We stayed at the Rosen Centre for a week-long conference and had a pretty good experience except for the extrordinarily high per night cost ($251 w/tax). The hotel is well-located for the convention center but there appeared to be other options nearby almost as convenient but for less money and closer to more restaurants and entertainment options.
The hotel itself seemed clean with a friendly staff and the rooms were nicely appointed but the internet service is atrocious. It seemed to continuously cut out and the service was not wireless. Another person from our corporation faced the same issues and was actually billed for several seperate attempts to reconnect. When she discovered this and brought it to the front desk's attention, the hotel did remove the additional charges.
One of the nicest features of the hotel is a 24hr. snack bar/deli facility that has a nice selection of food and snacks at a reasonable price. The hotel restaurant was also pretty good. Try the french onion soup.
For transportation to shopping, hotels, and restaurants, there is a trolley (really a bus) service that runs back and forth along International Drive with a stop just outside the hotel. Be careful though when walking to the bus stop or over to the convention center because there is a lack of paved walks from the front of the facility to the street.
No big deal, but I was a little disappointed there was no shoeshine service available.
Rosen Centre is a nice place to stay but the value just isn't there.

Stayed 6 nights for a conference held at this hotel. I was upgraded to a top floor room by the conference host (with privileges to use a VIP lounge). While one might presume this would be one of the best rooms in the hotel, it was not impressive. The furnishings were on the old side and there were minor problems (one of the phones not working, a sink stopper that was stuck, and a bathroom light that took 30-60 seconds to turn on). The _very_ poor internet connection was a major disappointment. They charge $10 per night (which was waived for our conference). But it never worked reliably, was unclear how to navigate through the menus to get the service started, and was very slow at times. This was most disappointing for a business trip. I called the number they gave to handle internet problems. They helped, but the service was unreliable (and unusable) within 12 hours. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable for me, the view was great, and people did to try to help. However the non-working phone was never fixed and the internet problems persisted all through the week, making accessing the internet in the room very difficult and frustrating. This hotel does not have technically competent help. The working table is tiny and the wicker chair requires a pillow as a cushion.

Just returned from a week in the Rosen centre. More than happy, all staff most pleasent and helpful, prices of food less than expected, excellent maid service. Large clean open areas, pool wonderful. Only negatives, lighting in room a little poor, would have liked a brighter main light instead of table lamps, rooms clean, large but basic. Would definately stay here again.

Gorgeous hotel couldn't of asked for more. We stayed here last year and i hadn't posted a reveiw but after seeing some of the bad reveiws i wanted to put my thoughts down.

This hotel really is lovely. The pool was warm and clean with plenty of sun loungers and always stacks of clean pool towels. Staff frequently came out and tidied up. The hot tubs are fantastc. You could near enough guarentee you would get one to yourself. They were so warm and just what you need after a long day at the parks.

The restraunts and Deli and good value for money with plenty of choice for whatever you fancy. The Deli did the most tasty hot dog!!!

The rooms are clean and the bed very comfy. The air conditioning was very good and not as noisy as some describe. Maids came and cleaned every day and did a really good job. On our last day we left some things in the room, the maid chased up to us with the things. The staff were very good and dealt with any questions ASAP.

The location is also brilliant, you aren't right in the main strip but at what i call the nicer end of I Drive. The main strip is in easy walking distance though.
I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.......We are CERTAINLY going again.
