This was our 2nd time staying at Wilderness Lodge, and we couldn't be more pleased! From the minute you step thru the door into the magnificent lobby and see that grand fireplace, totem poles, hear the western music....you feel as if you've stepped into the grandest log cabin you can imagine. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but extremely clean. The staff is very friendly, makes you feel right at home. Transportation to the parks can't be beat - the longest we waited for a bus was 20 minutes, and that was because we saw the earlier bus pulling away while we walked to the bus stop and didn't feel like running to try and catch it. Boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom is a nice, calm way to start and end your day. Returning to the resort at closing time from the parks - might be standing room because of the crowds, but the wait was never longer than 10 minutes. We didn't eat at Artist Point, but Whispering Canyon has great food and a unique atmosphere (just try asking for ketchup!), and Roaring Fork is good for a quick bite. Pool area was always nice and clean, no matter what time of day we were there. We'll be staying here again!
