My boyfriend and I really loved this property, the grounds were well kept and the pool and surrounding area were gorgeous. For the amount of money you pay to stay here, we found the rooms to be really lacking, they were dark, small and very disappointing. When we checked-in our first room had hair on the floor and in the shower and dirty finger prints all over the walls. We quickly called down to the front desk and were able to get into another room, which was much cleaner. We just made it a point to stay in our room as little as possible, since it was our least favorite part about this resort. The food at this resort was very good and the cast members were very friendly. I think its a great place to stay with kids because theres so much to do and so much to see, but I think for adults there are better alternative properties.

We have been to Disney many times and on a recent visit, were fortunate enough to stay on property at the Wildnerness Lodge. The hotel is stunning, full of amenities that our children enjoyed and worth every penny that we paid (during high season too!). It made our Disney experience just that more magical and we can't wait to return (and try other Disney hotels!)

We absolutely loved this resort! The lobby is grand and yet warm and welcoming! The pool was a great way to relax every night...we loved the current near the springs! We had a first floor courtyard a short walk to the pool. Everything was convenient....even transportation to the parks was easy. If we didn't take the bus, we could always take the boat to MK and other MK resorts. The food was good as Whispering Canyon, both breakfast and lunch were fun! Roaring Forks was a great quick stop for food too! We loved the Trading Post Store, we found a lot of great things there to take home! Water recreation is also available here too! It was like being transported to a Mountain Lodge in the middle of Florida! We loved it here and would definitely consider staying here again. It is also a great value for a Deluxe Resort!

We've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge a number of times and went back over a long MLK Holiday. Over the weekend and through Monday, the hotel was quite crowded but the hotel staff was still friendly and helpful. The pool area is very enjoyable and we found the boat service to and from the Magic Kingdom to be very good. The hotel lobby is of course almost without comparison. The only complaint I would have is that we were in a northerly facing room and we could hear the delivery trucks come and go in the middle of the night.

My husband and I took our two sons and families( one 5yr old & two 18mo olds) to the Disney World Half-Marathon and stayed for eight days at Wilderness Lodge. The only rooms available were woods view so I wasn't sure about the view but our rooms overlooked some woodsand also had a pond where we saw otters playing. The rooms were very clean and the service was great. The rooms have a small fridge so we all stopped at Publix before checking in for supplies. We also bought the mug at the Roaring Creek and then we could go down and get drinks whenever we wanted. We found the rooms to be quiet, we only heard noise from other rooms in the hallways or out on the balconies. We found it amazing that with as many rooms as there are we never had to wait more than 30 seconds for an elevator. The staff was always friendly and pleasant. We had a whole flock of cute little towel critters on our bed by the time we left. I can definitely say all the families enjoyed their stay at Wilderness Lodge.
