“Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

They accompany you directly upstairs and you check in while the rest of your party waits in the hospitality suite. There is no waiting in line for you and your luggage is taken to your room after you get your room key. every one gets a room key. It is your admission ticket to the park and only the adults have charging privileges. The room was very spaces and we had a view of the lake. There were two televisions in the room, which was great because we had small children. One in front of the beds and one in the sitting area. The refrigerator actually worked and kept things cool. Our room had been made ready when returned back to the hotel for an afterrnoon rest. (other places your room has not been cleaned and it 4 pm in the afternoon. You have to call for a clean up.) that was very much appreciated.

Room Tip: book early and keep watching the website for specials.

My two teens and I traveled to Orlando to stay at the Disney Boardwalk in June. My first impression was that it was clean, organized, and a carnival for my senses. The bright colors, fun music, old time decorations- Disney didn't miss a thing. We had preregistered (easy to do online), so we checked in using an ATM-like machine in the hotel lobby. We were in our rooms within 10 minutes of walking in the door to the hotel. Everything about this hotel is easy. Want to go to Epcot or Hollywood Studios? A ten minute walk left or right. Waterparks, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, shopping or movies? Disney has a free bus out front that always seemed to be waiting for you. When travel is so easy, you can take in two parks in a day and still have energy to watch a movie from a floatie in the pool. The food choices were endless, especially with a quick walk or boat ride to Epcot. We saw fireworks every night. The pools are fun filled with great slides, or there is a quiet pool where I ditched my teens for some alone time. We all loved this place. We would definitely go back.

Don't miss the bicycle built for four you can rent cheap! We're still laughing about it!

Room Tip: The halls are loooong, with many turns. If you are movement challenged at all, ask for a closer roo...

Everything about our visit was amazing. It was our honeymoon and my birthday during our stay, and they made us feel so special. We love disney. And the fact that you can walk to Epcot from this resort is outstanding. It was very clean and the staff is always extremely friendly. Can't wait to visit again soon!!!!!

This was our fist time staying at a Disney Deluxe. Previous stays have included (Port Orleans, Riverside, Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach). Once you go Deluxe, you never go back! We absolutely loved this resort. It was pristinely kept and you cannot beat the location! Right smack in the middle of our two favorite parks Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The boat is a nice change from using the buses as transportation. Cannot wait to go back! (Also to note the beds were the most comfortable we've stayed in and the water pressure in the shower was incredible).

Great location. Excellent service by employees. Very helpful & fun place to stay. Convenient location. Good, clean pool area. Towels were plentiful & everyone was right there to assist you.
The rooms were clean and the view was wonderful. Plenty of restaurants were great that were within walking. In the mornings, everything was washed down and clean, ready for a new start. Visited the hotels along the lake, and I believe, we had the best one.

I stayed at the Boardwalk Inn with my daughter and her friend 2 years ago, we liked it so much I recommended it to my sister who was going for her daughter's first trip to Disney. Everyone loved the hotel. The pool is great, as are the pool games the staff organizes. I was lucky enough to be invited along with my sister, and we stayed in one of the one bedroom villas. Everyone had plenty of room. While I was there, I slept on the pullout couch, which was very comfy. I babysat one night so my sister and brother in law could go out to dinner. My niece and I ordered room service, and it was awesome. The parks were great, and even though I had been to Disney a few times in the past, I found a lot of new attractions to enjoy. The staff at the hotel is excellent, and honestly, the short walk to Epcot is a huge selling point for the Boardwalk. At night, there are tons of activities going on along the boardwalk. Entertainers, food, bikes to rent. If you have younger children, then once you get past a certain hour, everyone is just plopped in front of the tv in the room. This way, families can go out for a stroll along the boardwalk and just have a short walk back to their room. It is expensive, but to me it is worth it to avoid hassle of the busses.

Room Tip: A room over the boardwalk is going to be a little more noisy at night.

This was our second stay at the Boardwalk and we came back for another stay because our first visit was just about perfect. We loved the convenience to Epcot (a short boat ride or a 5-10 minute walk) and that we could see the fireworks at Epcot every night from our balcony. The hotel is beautiful and gives you that special Disney feel the minute you enter. There are inviting activities on the boardwalk right behind the hotel every night.
I would have given this hotel a higher rating except for the delay we had with checking in. This process took much too long for other members of our family who were preregistered just like we were. They had to wait in the lobby for another 40 or 50 minutes after we were in our room because they could not seem to print a room key for them.
