I stayed here on business for an Army convention. Check in process was very easy. The hotel didn't seem very crowded at all. I had a rate of $152.00 a night, but I noticed on the internet the day before they had a rate of 159.00 with breakfast included. When checking in I asked if they could throw in breakfast. They came back with a rate of 136.00 and free breakfast. I was very impressed. That has never happened to me before. Free breakfast was awesome. It normally cost 20.00 for the buffett which I would never pay that much for. The food was fresh and good. You can also order eggs benedict on the buffett also. The room was clean and normal size. The bed was comfortable. There was a large screen tv with HDTV. I had a balcony room facing out in the East tower. When I went on the balcony there were several a/c fans blowing below. It sounded like a jet engine. You couldn't stay on the balcony long. I would recommend a high floor, I was on 9, or a different tower. I took the recommendation of a previous poster and parked in back of the hotel. It was much closer than the parking garage. They also have a promotion where can get parking, internet and golf range use for 16.95 a day. For getting nickeled and dimed I guess that's okay. The pool was great. Clean and comfortable. The meeting space is huge. We had plenty of space and never felt crowded. This place is huge for having meetings. To walk end to end takes about 10-15 minutes. The fitness area was huge, the biggest I've ever seen in any hotel.
Overall, I had great service. No issues with my room, good breakfast. If you can survive being nickeled and dimed and paying huge amounts of money to eat on site I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent service throughout the property. In room dining was the best ive ever had. Excellent food served hot (not easy). Set up by a great server who made it very nice and correct. Proper table set up in the room, efficient and courteous. Compliments to the chef (really to the cooks who make it happen) The spa was great, expensive but to be expected. It kills me to see the reviewers who say they nickel and dime you. It was expensive but its a nice orlando resort what do you expect? It was fairly priced. I valet parked the car each day and it was worth the 20 bucks for sure. Car there within ten min of calling every time. Staff was very friendly. Concierge and front desk very helpful and efficient. Pool was great and clean. My only complaint was that the pool bar was never really open due to bad weather. Thing was it wasnt that bad weather and it would have been nice to be able to drinks poolside.

I was so looking forward to our stay here, but when all was said and done, my next trip to Orlando I would choose a different Hotel. There was a wait at check in , lots of people inline checking in also. We had a great guy at the front desk and the lobby is quite impressive. Our room was a dissappointment when we got in, everything looked worn and tired. Our room door would not shut correctly and would pop open, same with the bathroom door. The wall paper was peeling, and the door to the balconey would not lock, we did not have little children, but if we did this would have been an issue. Room seemed small, that is probably why you find the coffee maker in the closet. One plus, very comfortable bed. The pool area was massive, but crowded and loud. Upkeep just seemed to ba lacking. There was other peoples garbage left laying around, old food wrappers ect.. and I went to pick them up and toss, but the garbage cans were full, so I could see why people just left their trash. Mulch had washed out of the beds and was on the walkway, and there was alot and not the nicest to step on while going into the pool. Food was horribly expensive, daily parking was expensive and then you have that whole parking thing to deal with. Garage to park is way, and I mean way far away and the first day no-one told us of the shuttle. Second day we did the shuttle but I thought it was still an incovienence. I would not return here, we are Marriott rewards members but I would pick a different hotel.

Not normally type of hotel we stay in but was there for a convention so we stayed where the group stayed. Was very large and fancy but we were extremely disappointed with several aspects. The staff was extremely inadequate for a convention center hotel. Our room wasn't even on the same floor as the rest of our group. It took several times of going back to the front desk to get our room accommodations correct. After all that we left to go site seeing and returned late to find there was no bedding for the pull out couch. The staff knew we had 3 people for the King room so they knew we would be needing bedding for the couch. IT TOOK TWO HOURS AND SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO GET BEDDING! The bed was comfy and the room clean. The property is awesome with several places to get food, shop and swim. The meeting rooms were great. The laundry facilities were horrible because none of the dryers worked properly so it took hours for one load. There was a haunted elevator that took you where ever it wanted! We had a very early flight and had to leave at 3 am so I worked with a manager the night before to get our bill correct since we had so much trouble upon check in. OUR BILL WAS STILL MESSED UP WHEN WE TRIED TO CHECK OUT! There was no shuttle driver to get my husband to the parking garage to get out rental so just loading our bags took 45 mins. We almost missed our flight even though we tried to leave the hotel 2 hours early! I would only stay here again if the stay was FREE.

We are family with a toddler boy and we spent a week (06/29-07/04) at OWCM. We had that great deal for Marriott Elite members with good price, breakfast and self-parking included. At check in the clerk named Thai was very pleasant and responsive. He gave us room at 4th floor facing pool. It was great room but the view was a bit obstructed - so I called the front desk and get us relocated on 26th floow with great view facing pool. And it was early check-in by the way - around noon. We also choose to have a small fridge - kinda useful when you travel with small kid. Speaking about kids the hotel has dedicated pool(s) for the little ones, sand area, indoor play area with toys, indoor pool and arcade room for older kids. By the way you can borrow water and sand toys at indoor play room and return it back when you're done- it's absolutely free and you don't have to buy the toys from the numerous local mini-store in the hotel. Parking lot at the back was a great tip I've read here on tripadvisor - saved us a lot of walking. Beware of Marriott Vacation Club people located close to elevators tending to bother you with their "unresistable" deals to spend some time at their TimeShare facilities. Overall we can give this Marriott high marks despite distant parking and expensive on-site restraunts.
