“Simply Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2007

We married under the beautiful white gazebo on January 9th 2007. The gardens, the lake and the gazebo areas are all simply stunning. Photos were fantastic thanks to the stunning backdrop! Would advise anyone wanting to marry in a simple but stunning location to choose here and would also advise horticulture enthusiasts to schedule it in as part of their Florida holiday!

“very nice gardens, great home tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2006

If you like botanical gardens, you should enjoy this one too. I ESPECIALLY enjoyed the historical tour of the private residence of the founders which is the center of the gardens.

“Our Wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2005

We were married in the Gazebo at Leu Gardens on June 2, 2000. We came from England with some family and friends and our Best Man, who has sadly since died. Leu Gardens is a very special place for us and we have returned twice, the first time with our eldest daughter in 2002, when she was 17 months old and then again last year with both our eldest daughter, then 3.1/2 and our second daughter, then aged 11 months.

Returning last year was very emotional having lost our Best man earlier in the year. Unfortunately the gardens had been devastated by the hurricanes that had hit Florida before and during the time we were there in September. We were allowed to go as near to the Gazebo as was safely possible to lay some flowers in memory of our dear friend.

Leu Gardens will always hold a very very special place in our hearts and we will return each time we are fortunate enough to come to Florida. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful with the weather fantastically hot! We had a lovely lady named Doris Petersen marry us and she was particularly sweet. The whole experience was very moving and I would recommend to any couple wishing to marry in the Florida area to consider this beutiful setting.

“A stroll in the park....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2004

If you enjoy gardens, this is a good one! It includes the largest formal rose garden in Florida, a butterfly garden, herb and vegetable garden, a "white garden", camellias, azaleas, historic home tours, a wooden deck on Lake Rowena, and the entrance building houses a library, gift shop, meeting rooms, and helpful receptionists. Special events are scheduled, including a recent camellia show that we attended. Regular admission is only $4 and parking is free!
