We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at this resort from Aug. 29 -Sept. 3, 2006. We were at building # 8 (Fantasia). The room were quite clean and very welcoming! Two double beds, a TV, a bathroom with tub and shower and enough space in the room to move around-----nice.

All the staff at the Movie Resort was always friendly, cheerful and helpful.

In the cafeteria, there was lots of choices for food------sweet!!
We had a dining plan included with our package. Best deal that you could have. It saved us a lot of money as each dinner show or character dining cost around $130-$140 for a family of four. We used the Table Service Meals for the lunches each day----it cost us roughly around $30-$40 per lunches.

No negative things to say while we were here. It was worth it to stay at a disney resort because all the shuttle buses are free to all parks and downtown areas----and they come around often (about every 20 mins).

On our last day here, we checked the All Star Music Resort and the All Star Sport Resort, and I can honestly say that the All Star Movie Resort came out on top!!!!!

One final note: we did get hit by Hurricane Ernesto. Nothing damaged, just periods of rain throughout the afternoon/early evening.

I would recommend this resort for people that never stayed at an Disney resort before!

We stayed at all star movies for 2 weeks.the hotel is very clean in side rooms and on hotel grounds.We had our 5 year old boy with us and stayed in the mighty ducks building.My son loved the huge icons and the themed swimming pools.We ordered pizza delivered to our room on the 1st night there,but didn,t like the pizza which had very little choice.The rooms where cleaned on a daily basis with towels and other toileteries changed daily.one warning is DO NOT USE THE TELEPHONE TO PHONE HOME HAS THERE IS A 50% SURCHARGE.We made 2 phone calls back to england one was for 1min leaving a message on answer machine and the other was for 5mins.They wanted to charge me 80 dollars for total of 6mins.But reduced this to 11 dollars for only call charges after i complained.Food court was good with plenty of options.Check in a bit slow and reception staff are a bit moody.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

We had a group of 6 adults and 2 children stay at the All-Star Movie resort in April. The kids had never been to Disney World and none of the adults had been in more than 20 years. This hotel was the perfect place for our group to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing grand or spectacular, but the point of our trip was to see the parks and attractions, not pay for an expensive hotel that we would only be at to sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were in the food court. Also, it was nice to get up in the mornings and simply go board the shuttle to take us to whichever of the parks we were visiting that day. The only problem we had was that the main pool was closed the first 2 days of our 8-day stay, but we weren't at the hotel that much anyway. This was a very minor inconvenience since there was another pool on the grounds. Overall our experience at the All-Star resort was great. It's amazing that we didn't have any disturbances from noise by the other guests, as full as the hotel was. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay at a Disney World resort.

We stayed at the all star movies for 2 weeks in June 2006. We had 2 rooms in building 7 (Fantasia). The rooms were very clean and although basic had everything that you need, after all you basically use them to sleep and shower. We took advantage of the Disney dining and we were very impressed.The food court was very busy but overall the food was ok and the resturant was clean. The Disney transportation was fantastic and the drivers were friendly. The extra magic hours are a big bonus.
We will always stay at a Disney property as the 'extras' make it that much more special!
