An absolutely awesome show! The effects are really cool and it's definitely worth watching once during your visit. Make sure you get there early for a good seat!

“Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Good over comes evil in this fiery firework, smoke, laser, projection- actually I'm not sure how they do it but it is wonderful. The pre-show hosts get the audience involved while waiting for show to begin. Dinner package gets you preferred seating at no extra cost.

“Fantastic!”

Don't miss this! Mickey, his friends, Disney history, flames, fireworks, etc. Wow! Get in line at least an hour before.

“Fun fireworks and show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

We've been to Disney many times - we used to book Fantasmic dining package but have learned we can find good seats if we go an hour before the show. The arena is large and there are lots of places to sit. It does fill up quickly, but the pre-show helps the time pass. They do need more consession stands as the lines are way too long (especially on nights when the weather is either too hot or too cold as everyone is in line for hot/cold drinks). The show itself is fantastic - Disney magic!

“Great show, appalling customer service.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

I saw this show in 2005 and it was great, so I was looking forward to seeing it again last weekend, during Star Wars weekend.

Anyway, we joined the ridiculously long queue to go into the show, and they made several announcements saying the show would be delayed due to technical issues. A delay we could live with, at least we would get to see the show.

Thousands of people, like us, bought food, drink and junk to entertain their young children while waiting in line. They then filter several thousand people, who had patiently waited, into the auditorium, get us all seated, and announce that the show has been cancelled, so they would show everybody an extract from the show instead. I honestly thought they were joking at first! The extract was just a few fireworks and water jets, no Disney characters or light projections at all. It was like a limp lettuce of a show!

How cynical and callous of this big corporation to profiteer from families who had kept their children up late to watch a special show, only to cancel it literally at the last minute. Now I have to decide whether to use the last day of my Disney ticket on going back to see this show, or going to another park. I appreciate that the technical issues may have been beyond Disney's control, but they could have offered people a free return ticket for the Fantasmic display only, especially after messing everybody around and fleecing us for more money while we waited. Sorry Disney, but you have lost my good faith in your company.
