“Quite Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

Very nice for 'suite' type of room -- great bathroom and walk in shower. Like the layout of the grand suite. One noticable thing was the water running when toilets flushed somewhere on the floor(s) above us. Only really heard it late at night/early a.m.

Nice breakfast buffet.

Parking was not the best situation.

Stayed here for 4 days in April 2012 and wished we had booked the whole 14 days. Accomodation faultless, first class. Pool very quite during the day as it was mostly business people that used the hotel. Breakfast area could get very busy early in the morning and tables were limited, but as we were in no rush we would go and sit by the pool with a coffee and have breakfast late. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a balcony looking towards Orlando Town. Hotel very quite and not full of rowdy youngsters running about the corridor.

Room Tip: If you have included brekfast in your room deal and are not in a rush, wait until at least 9am befor...

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor, and got a tremendous rate for an Executive Suite. The property looks like a failed condo development, with a variety of room options, a pool with a bar and restauraunt, shuttle service to the parks (though after opening times), a breakfast buffet that probably isn't worth it ($10.95 for adult, $6.95 for kids). The plusses are the proximity to the parks, the pool, and the friendly staff. The minuses, and maybe these were only for us, is someone was obviously smoking in this smoke-free hotel, as we got a big whiff of smoke when the A/C kicked on, the lack of an ice machine on each floor, and when we checked out, they tried to stick us with a charge that wasn't ours. They did reverse it, but the woman at the front chastised me for "signing the bill before asking questions." Nothing like getting lectured by a front desk worker.

We stayed here for 7 nights. Checkin was easy & the staff were very friendly. The 1 bedroom suite was great with the full kitchen with washer & dryer.
The bedsettee was not very comfortable for my 8 year old daughter but we just asked for an extra mattress, that was brought immediately & the problem was solved. The separate shower from the bathtub was great.
The pool area was lovely, the lobby area had a starbucks coffee shop but it was not always manned, which was disappointing on a few occasions we wanted a latte.
There were a few restaurants within walking distance but some nights we did need to use the car for some variety.
Overall I would stay here again.

It was not a bedroom only, but a complete apartment: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and even a living room. The 'apartment', includes even wash machine. Couldn't have more. I choose this hotel due it's proximity to Universal Orlando and really it's a walking (ok, long walking) distance. The shuttle is not a good option since only available early in the morning and at 6pm to return. Anyway, Orlando is a easy city to drive, I highly recommend renting a car (and there's no cost to park it in the hotel). There is also a ticket selling machine for Universal and some other parks at Orlando inside the hotel. There's a pool, but we didn't used it.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view room, the other side have a empty view of roads and trees (not worth)

We recently stayed at the Point Orlando hotel for a week. The Single bedroom suite was clean, well laid out, and had everything we needed for meals when we chose not to eat at a restaurant. It is a short drive from Universal and in a convenient part of town, close to highways. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Safety deposit boxes were at the front desk but they access was easy and staff accomodating. Pool area was nice and releaxing. Free wireless in the room was great.
Terrific value!

This is a nice, newer hotel, slightly off the main path. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Loved having a Keurig coffee maker in the room. The sofa sleep was not very comfortable, but it was worth the full kitchen and washer/dryer in the room. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Spa/tub, do I need to say more?? Easy to get to Universal Citywalk for all the restaurants ect. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: I booked through southwest and used a AAA discount and got a terrific rate!
