“Fabulous retreat in Orlando!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2011

Our family stayed at this resort after reading all the wonderful reviews on tripadvisor. It was so affordable that we decided to stay for 10 days intead of 1 week. Check in was easy and we were put in a newer building, building #5. This put us further away from the morning continetal free breakfast but it was no problem because I preferred the newer building. I chose to not pay extra for maid service and it was fine. They still come change your trash daily and will bring you whatever you need. There is a vaccuum in the condo so I did tidy up a bit one lazy raining morning. We washed our own towels. The pool is awesome! You feel like you are at a luxuary 5 star hotel. Towels onsite. The hotel has a gated entrance so we felt safe at the resort. You also have to have a room key to get into the gated pool area. There is a nice small fitness area that I went to a few times. We ran out of dish washing detergent and shampoo about the middle of our trip, so I called down for some more. They brought it up within 10 minutes. They provide hair dryers and bathrobes. I could have saved room in my suitecase. The TV in the den played DVDs. The master bathroom couldn't have been nicer. It had a huge double sink vanity area with huge mirror. The large tub was jetted and the large shower had wonderful variations of water pressure. The kitchen was modern, clean, and had all of your practical kitchen items in it. We couldn't think of anything that we needed that it didn't provide. Our beds were very comforable. The CVS on the way to Seaworld is where we picked up some groceries as that is all we saw other than the hotel shop. I am sure they are all over the place but we didn't venture all around Orlando. We mainly went to the parks, restaurants, and outlets. For a change of pace, it was fabulous to come home to WorldQuest where it was calm and tranquil. It was not very crowded in January, so I am not sure if it would be as fab if it were really crowded. If we return to Orlando, I will definitely stay here again. The three bedroom and 2 bathroom suite of ours could have easily slept 8 comforably with the pull out sofa.

When we arrived our children were so excited about our resort. They started screaming and running to claim their rooms. Each day they found some new active. The heated outdoor pool was the best.

The 2 bedroom apartment was exactly as described & displayed on the World Quest Website. Plenty of room to have both Family & adult time. Concierge staff Karen & Emily are outstanding, helping to plan our trip which was a little daunting coming from Australia. Basic store provided necessities when we didn't have tome to go shopping. Pool & Tiki bar are great if you want to laze around. The resort is kept extremely clean & front office staff are helpfull. We required some maintenance in our apartment which was rectified within 2 hours at 10:00 PM.
This is a beautiful resort tucked away from the hustle & bustle & easy distance from Disney & Universal & International Drive.

My husband and I stayed at the Worldquest Resort with our 2 children (8 and 15), and my mother for 10 days over the Christmas holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mediterranean architecture, huge free-form heated pool, gigantic hot tub, and gorgeous landscaping. The 3 bedroom/3 bath condo in which we stayed was large, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots.

We did not choose to pay the charge for daily housekeeping service, which, I believe, was $40 per day. The condo was very clean upon our arrival and the resort took care of cleaning the condo after we left. We stayed in building #1 on the second floor. Our trash was collected daily and we received a newspaper at our door each day. There was a complimentary breakfast daily, which consisted of bagels, muffins, pastries, cereal, fruit, milk, juice, and coffee. The breakfast room was so crowded and the food was sparse if we didn't get there early. We often chose to eat in our condo instead.

It was Christmastime when we went, so the music around the pool for 12 hours each day consisted of Christmas carols. I'm sure during other times of the year they play different types of music. We actually really enjoyed the music while sitting on our screened-in balcony and looking out at the pool and gorgeous landscaping.

There is a Publix grocery store a short drive away if you turn left when leaving the little private street that the resort is on. If you turn right instead and then right again at the next stop sign, you will come to a Wal-mart that is very close too. There are lots of restaurants on the Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, which is just after the Publix store.

This is a good location for going to anything Disney. We will definitely stay here again, if we're ever visiting Orlando.

Our party of four adults and three young children (ages 4, 6, and 8) enjoyed our stay at the WorldQuest Resort over MLK weekend, while visiting--What else?--Disney World. The location is superb--about 2 miles from the Disney entrance! It is a bit of a jaunt, however, to shopping; I'd guess about 4 miles to the nearest supermarket and restaurants. There is traffic noise from the Osceola Parkway less than 100 yards from the front of the units; however, the soundproofing kept most of the noise outside. The unit itself (which we rented through VRBO) was quite nice--living/dining area; kitchen; 3 bedrooms; 3 baths; 4 televisions (important with young children). I would strongly suggest to the owners that they supply some of the simple necessities (screwdriver, scissors, toilet plunger, hooks in the bathroom for swimsuits, towels), since most guests do not carry these items in their car. The large pool outside was a big hit with our "water rat" grandchildren; they used it every day. The value was superb--just a fraction of the cost of staying at a Disney resort. All in all, a 5 for spaciousness, value, location. I would not, however, call it "luxurious," just quite nice, and for most travelers spending their days at Disney that should suffice.

I booked our stay at WorldQuest after scouring the internet and reading the mostly positive reviews for this place. It is really just as advertised (although I don't know if I'd call it luxury--that label seems to be applied whenever granite countertops are involved). We were in a 3 bed/2 bath condo with plenty of room for our family of 5 plus my parents. It was clean and the kitchen, though scantily equipped, was certainly adequate for less than a week. The hot tub was nice and large but it was too chilly to use the pool while we were there. The pool deck was very attractive and the pool furniture was very nice. We booked through VRBO so really had no contact with the staff. The best part of this condo was its very close proximity to DisneyWorld. It really is as close as they say. Be aware that signage in this part of FL is extremely poor--we aren't idiots (at least, I don't think so!) and we got lost coming back to the resort the first 2 days. Make sure you consult a map--it's as though Disney wants to keep you trapped in their World and Orange County, despite the millions of dollars that Disney visitors pour into their economy, can't invest in adequate signage. It was a nice vacation. Would I stay again? Maybe--there are many, many condo complexes just outside Disney and I might try one of them next time. But due to location and value, I'd have no problem recommending this place to anyone. One more thing, read a lot of reviews complaining about the beds. They were fine! No, they weren't hotel quality, but what do you expect? We all slept perfectly.

This condo resort was wonderful. The rooms, service and location were great. Location is about one mile from entrance to Disneyland, and close to other attractions such as Sea World. We will definitly stay here again.
