“Not so good this time around”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

This has been one of our favorites for value on past trips. We didn't get the same feeling this time around. We found some of the cabinet doors coming off of the hinges, none of the outlets in the bathroom were operational, and the shower head in the master bath was simply awful. We only paid $99 for a three-bedroom unit (we only needed one room) but the property tacks on resort fees which drives the price up into the range of some of the low-end onsite Disney properties. Also, you have to pay a $39 housekeeping fee on stays of less than 3 nights. Add it all up (with taxes) and we paid about $147 a night. Not so attractive when the initial advertised rate was $99.

This resort is awesome. I will definetly stay here again! The apartment was a home away from home. My family and I enjoyed a week in Orlando. The hotel has a shuttle to Disney. Even though there is a full kitchen, the hotel offers a breakfast every morning.

Beautiful resort, convenient to Disney parks (and I'm sure many other things, but we only visited Disney during our stay). Although the resort does offer a shuttle to Epcot (where you can then get to the other parks), the shuttle service is very limited and you will not get there in time for park opening, if that's important to you. We knew this beforehand and chose to use our car every day; it was worth it to pay for parking at Disney. We were in building 5, top floor. I definitely recommend the top floor, but will ask for building 1 or 2 if we stay here again, as these are much closer to the pool and clubhouse. The continental breakfast every morning is decent - wish there was more variation and it was more spread out. It was usually very crowded and it's best just to get your food and get out. The pool is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and have amenities that make this place a great value.

My complaints are: our disposal was broken and although we reported it, it was not fixed during our stay. The mattresses were very hard and I generally don't care about what I sleep on that much - these were just SO uncomfortable that even I had a hard time sleeping. Our rooms also had some tiny bugs that I may have not noticed, had it not been for my 2-year-old being down on the floor so much. He pointed them out and then throughout the trip, I would notice them at times on my feet or ankles - they left tiny bites that itched like crazy! I haven't seen other complaints like this on Tripadvisor, so I'm not opposed to staying here again, as this may have just been bad luck.

Room Tip: Buildings 1 and 2 are closer to the pool and clubhouse.

We rented a 2 BR and 3BR for us, our children and grandchildren for a week. Very convenient to Disneyworld, plenty of space for all of us to gather for meals and games. Loved the screened
porch, washer/dryer, kitchen space to cook some. Enjoyed the pool area on our rest days. The
property is well cared for. A wonderful value! We would definitely recommend.

My son-in-law rented a 3 bedroom unit for a long weekend visit for he and his wife and two children. Grandma(that would be me) was delighted to be asked to tag along. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and LG TV. All bedrooms were a good size, and the kitchen was very nice, and complete with a dishwasher. Surprisingly a stacked washer-dryer was also in the unit. What a terrific, handy idea! The room had a great screened balcony with a view of a small lake and the woods around the hotel. We headed to the pool for a night swim and found the pool bar open for the adults to enjoy while the kids played in the pool. A nice continental breakfast got guests off to a good start of their day. Will definitely visit there again when I am in the area!

Upon arrival we find that the unit had no coffee maker. The tub water faucet was broken and the door to the washer and drier was off the track. The biggest problem was that the room keys would not work. Coming home to the unit after a day at the parks we would play key roulette, trying to see if any of our keys worked. It took 3 days to get the problem solved. We had stayed here in 2012 and it had been great.

Great place, beautiful rooms very spacious. The pool is big and looks like you are in a tropical island. My first choice every time we travel to Orlando. The rooms are very clean and looks like you are staying in your own place. Near the parks, outlet malls and restaurants. The breakfast is not bad, just not a lot of space to eat. It is best to take it back to your room and you will eat more comfortable. Friendly staff.

Room Tip: 2bedrooms great for family of 4 or even 6, since it has a sofa bed. Request blogs 1 or 2 they are cl...
