“Great location, price, view and relaxation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

This was our first stay at the WorldQuest Resort after having been at other properties in the area. The location is the best! Close enough to all the attractions, yet just removed enough for some peace and quiet after a day in Orlando. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the pool. The screened balcony made it extremely comfortable to sit outside. The continental breakfast served each morning is perfect for those who want to eat quickly before a busy day. There are many restaurants located nearby, and easy access to roads leading to Disney, etc. The staff was more than accommodating. No need to stay anywhere else...we will definitely be back!

Travelled to Orlando for a 4 night getaway with 3 teenage girls. Wanted a place with a little space, two separate bedrooms, free internet, free breakfast and a shuttle to the park. Found it all at WorldQuest. Paid $560 total (includes taxes, resort fee and, with a 4 night stay, no $39 housekeeping fee) which I felt was a great deal.

The staff we encountered were all pleasant and helpful, the suite itself was clean, modern and met all our needs--the master bath is particularly impressive--and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The one complaint we had is that the towels are tiny and thin--if you are driving, bring your own! There are 3 TVs in the 2 bedroom suite we had and all are on the small side for today's standards but this was unimportant to us. The other, very minor comments that didn't bother us are that, yes, the couch was a little tired, the breakfast is all carbs and the configuration in the main room of the suite is a little odd in that the real viewing is from the table and chairs in the eating area rather than the couch area. Really, no problem for our group at all.

One night there was a very loud party going on and I called the front desk at 1 am and they were very responsive--sent security out and the noise died down.

There's a Walmart a couple miles away and we picked up some drinks and snacks. The pool was nice. We ended up not using the shuttle so I can't comment about that but the location was easy and convenient and, as a mom travelling with teenage girls, I felt very safe. Highly recommended hotel for the value.

Room Tip: We stayed in building 5 so about a 6 minute walk to the pool and breakfast area. We were on the 5th...

Just spent three nights at Worldquest after finding $89 offer with waived housekeeping fee through Travelzoo. My kids and I were not doing Disney parks per se but other Disney activities. The property is only 15 minutes from Fort wilderness and 8 minutes from downtown Disney door to door. We checked in late one night and were told the 2-br apartments had all been filled so We were upgraded to a 3-br. Let's get this out of the way, this ain't the Ritz, but for a quarter of what you would spend there, you can have more than twice the space. The rooms were perfectly clean and it was great to be able to stay in one night and eat. Add to it the continental breakfast, and you would be hard pressed to find a better value.

If you need a hotel with 2 or 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen and washer dryer this is the place to stay. Friendly staff execellent facilities, super clean and modern rooms make this the best value near Disney World. Every time we come to Orlamdo with the grand kids this is where we stay. Add in free continental breakfast, free parking and free in-room Internet this makes this the best value within 2 miles of Disney there is.

We love the three bedroom 2 bath suites. There is a 24 hour manned security gate to enter the property. The service is impeccable, on the rare occasion there is anything wrong. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dinnerware, pots, pans, and appliances you need. Just a couple of things you need to know; if you stay less than 4 nights there is a cleaning fee, pay the extra $6 for extra towels as there is no daily service and bring coffee. There is some in the room but it is never enough and be sure to ask the front desk for a few extra trash bags.

Then location is great 5 minutes and you're in Disney World, 10 minutes from Seaworld and 20 minutes to Universal. We love to stay here and think you will too!

I typing this on my iPad so I am not able to click all the other star ratings but if I could they would all be 5 stars

Room Tip: They are all great but if you need a 3 bedroom the ones on the end of the building where it is only...

Our overall stay was good. We had the three bedroom unit for 7 days. The size of the unit was impressive. There was plenty of room for the four adults and three kids sleeping there. The location is very convenient for all the Disney parks. We loved having access to our own washer/dryer combo and full kitchen. Our kids absolutely loved the pool. It was very nice and very clean. We had no need to spend extra money on Disney Waterpark tickets with access to this large, beautiful pool. If you want to save big bucks on your Disney vacation by staying outside of the parks, this place is great.

There were some problems with our unit that weren't really worth bringing to the management's attention during our stay, as we were way too busy having fun at Disney...we did however give the list of issues to the gal at checkout. Most of our issues could have been easily avoided with better attention from housekeeping and management. The list was as follows:
1-the cable to the tv in the master suite was broken and needed to be completely replaced (my husband and I couldn't watch tv in this room at all)
2-the faucet to the whirlpool tub was so loose it seemed like it was literally about to fall off.
3-speaking of whirlpool tub....good luck enjoying it. We twice tried to fill it up past the jets to enjoy a relaxing bath only to discover there wasn't anywhere near enough hot water to fill it past the jets. Worldquest, if you're going to offer whirlpool tubs you need to offer enough hot water to fill them!
4-the laundry closet door was completely off track.
5-broken tile in the third bathroom
6-the utility closet door was very rusty and looked super gross.
7-they had apparently replaced the left crisper drawer in the refrigerator with a drawer that did not fit....the refrigerator door WOULD NOT close with this drawer installed and the fridge was completely warm when we arrived at our unit. We had to leave the drawer out our entire stay.
8- everyday when housekeeping changed our trash, they left several lights on in our unit. Perhaps this is protocol, but it seems very wasteful. We are pretty environmentally aware individuals, so to return to our unit every evening to multiple lights being left on all day by housekeeping seemed very wasteful both financially in power costs to the condo & environmentally. If this is some type of protocol we suggest stopping that to save on overhead costs as well was save precious energy.
9-lastly, and probably most disturbing...upon arrival my husband found copious amounts of dust and trash, including an old half-eaten sucker and even cell phone cover, stuck behind the night stands. Housekeeping should be pulling furniture out and dusting/cleaning these areas, especially considering many people renting these units are staying for more extended periods of time. Makes us wonder what other corners are being cut....

This review is not meant to deter people from staying at Worlquest. It was definitely a good value for the money and we would definitely stay there again. This review is meant to help management improve on the small areas that need attention that would have made our stay that we rate a "7" easily a "10."

I love the world quest. We have stayed here 4 times this year. Always come back. I have to cook for my son so i love the large stocked kitchen, because of his anosmia we eat at home. We alwAys come w family from holland or invite friends. Its a nice place to share w loved ones . I also love the lady who gets our tickets for the attractions , very convenient. Today I was just very disappointed because I had no idea that you had to request to have 3 bathrooms. We always had three bathrooms and the corner three bedroom units in building 7 are beautiful but much smaller than the other rooms we stayed in this year and it only has two bathrooms. I asked to switched rooms but the hotel is booked. I just wished when I called to request for the top floor in building 7 and the lady was so nice to say : is there anything else you would like to request , that she had suggested the choice of two or three bedrooms . And the day after I booked it for $136, it was offered for $111

Dear smehlbaum123,

Thank you for your kind words!
We have a limited inventory of 3 bedroom suites that have 3 bathrooms. Althoug we cannot guarantee it, I am pleased that we can offer it as a pleasant surprise for a few guests upon arrival.

Thank you again,

I will make this short and try to hit the pros and cons of this resort.

Pro
-Close to Disney (5 min to Epcot)
-Beautiful grounds and amazing pool
-Friendly and attentive staff
-Spacious rooms (we had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath room in building 2 that overlooks the pool)
-Comfortable King and Queen beds
-View of Disney fireworks at 9pm from our corner unit
-Stocked kitchen
-Light breakfast (mainly carbs), but great when you want a quick bite and don't feel like making breakfast
-Clean rooms (no bugs in the room...there are bugs outside and may get in, but it does not reflect the cleanliness of the rooms overall)
-Screened-in balconies
-Security at the entrance

Cons
-Because we were in one of the first buildings built on this resort, the furniture was getting a bit worn and caulking in the showers needed to be redone
-Limited seating inside at breakfast (only an issue if it was raining)...on a few occassions we just took some juice and toast up to our room
-Twin beds in room #3 need a new mattress

Overall, we had a great time and 8 days was not long enough, lol!!!! If we are back in town, we will consider staying at WorldQuest again.
