Owner description: "Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

“Fun. Cool shops & food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

We love the ambiance of the boardwalk. It's fun and leisurely and cute Disney shops and eateries. We always try to stop and get some ice cream or pizza. Performers are really entertaining and fun. Games wayyyyyy over priced and will always stay away from those

“So quaint!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

Disney's Boardwalk is a free attraction located at The Boardwalk resort. You really feel like you're on a boardwalk over looking the ocean. They have little shops and big restaurants, as well as some pretty good bakeries.

If you have some spare time, it's worth a visit. If you're not staying at the Boardwalk Resort, you can get to Disney's Boardwalk through Epcot, or by Boat from Hollywood studios, or simply take a bus from any of the Disney Parks. Although I will say the boat ride is quite nice.

The only reason I didn't give the boardwalk 5 stars, is because it's quite small. I was expecting more shops, and more to do, but I will say I still think it's worth seeing if you have extra time.

“Disney Boardwalk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

Stayed in the Swan and Dolphin, and after a busy day in the Parks with the family it was great just to wander round to the Boardwalk and it's many restaurants and doak up the atmosphere. The favourite was the ESPN Sports bar, great food nice and relaxing, nice way to end the day.

“Excellant food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

The boardwalk is soooooooo relaxing to just walk around without rushing anywhere. The "Big River" pub has excellent burgers and beer. YUM! You cant miss the boardwalk bakery! It had the best turkey sandwich that melted in my mouth. My husband had an éclair to die for. Everything is freshly made. Their was a line going out the door so you know they had good stuff to eat. The line went fast so you cant miss getting something here. YUM. It was a 10 minute walk to Epcot and MGM from where we stayed at the Dolphin so we could walk off the yummy stuff we ate at the Boardwalk. We saw a bride and groom getting married and they climbed into a coach with 6 horses and went down the Boardwalk! So cool.

“Good music and fun BUT you will pay for it...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

The guys on the piano are great. They know lots of songs and sing them in typical piano bar fashion. Good amount of audience participation. We went on a Saturday night and it got pretty busy by 10.

Notes:
- Cover is HIGH at $12. Cost $48 bucks to walk in the door for my crew of 4. OUCH!
- Get there EARLY if you want to sit. We arrived at 8:30 and got some of the last tables.
- Waitresses were snippy, don't bother even trying to save 1 chair for your family, they will yell at you and tell you that you can't do that.
- Popcorn is free. Get it yourself or the waitress may bring you some. This is the ONLY food there.
- Drink prices are STUPID HIGH. Some highlights: Bud Light $8, Captain Straight $12.50, House Special $12, well Whiskey Coke $8.25, wine $8.25, Scotch Rocks $13.75. These are not big drinks either. The captain was a 1.5 oz pour. Wine is 4 oz pour. House special was like pure sugar water, skip it. Basically, made the whole experience 3 points lower.
- Save your receipts or pay cash. The waitress added money to her tip on the credit card after we left. I guess 18% is too low. Had to call up to get refund. Still waiting.
- The piano players take requests BUT don't expect it to be played. We requested a song, with tip, at 8:45 and never heard it even leaving at 1:00. Maybe you need to tip bigger to get it played?

All in all, this could be fun if you're willing to spend $100-$150 per person for a night out. If I were ever to go again, I would have my drinks before I got there and probably flask in some more.
