“Fun Fun Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Like to do something a little different on your vacation? Than Divequest is for you. An informal meeting outside of Epcot guest services and away you go. Note: There are no signs to let you know you are at the right place, but you will probably see others looking confused...they are there for the tour too. A behind the scenes tour was educational and fun. (ask your instructor about the 2 strike sharks) But the highlight is a 40-45 minute snorkel/dive in the aquarium. You might use extra oxygen when you first spot a shark swimming beneath you but thats ok...its safe and a thrill of a lifetime. If you have ever been to an aquarium and waved to the divers feeding/cleaning inside the tank... this is your opportunity to be that diver. Have fun and don't miss this experience.

“Great for Divers who love Disney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

This is one of the coolest dives I've ever done because it makes diving a spectator sport. No one else in my family dives so they have never seen me dive before. It is also lots of fun interacting with the other guests and watching them take your picture and watching the little kids eyes get so big when they wave at you.

It is very reasonably priced compared to most aquarium dives.

It is also one of the only ways you know what you are going to see before you even dive! Sharks, turtles, and dolphins (from a difference). My dad was able to get an awesome video of me staring down a shark. Again, unless everyone in your family dives, that's hard to do in the ocean.

Really awesome experience!

“As good as it gets Diving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Divequest at Walt Disney World Epcot is seriously awesome. You get a quick tour of behind the scenes, then gear up for a 40min dive. Everything, gear, wetsuit, tanks, is sorted for you - all you have to do is show up with your C-Card. There is a locker room with showers to change after the drive. My Favorite part was interacting with the people on the other side of the glass looking into the aquarium. You can swim up to the windows of the restaurant as well. Staff was very friendly and the experience was well worth it. I would do in again in a second.

“Great Dive Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

First of all, be aware that you meet right outside the Epcot entry at Guest Services. I feel the reservation agent was not clear about this, plus they do not send you an e-mail confirmation or anything with instructions on it. We were signed up for the 4-7 p.m. tour, but it seems other people were told it started at 4:15. However, once we met Mike our Tour Guide, things went very smoothly. The maximum group size is 15 divers, which we had. There are separate locker rooms for men and women. You are brought in the employee entrance and shown some areas, but it wasn't as much of a behind the scenes tour as I thought it would be. But you do learn a lot about the aquarium and what they are doing conservation wise. For the dive, your tanks are all set up for you, ready to go, and there are people to help get them on. Plus the dive platform is designed so it is easy to enter and exit the water. Being Disney, you are in the water exactly 40 minutes. There are a variety of rays, sea turtles, a variety of fish, plus a few sharks which you can avoid or if you desire get up close to (they stick to a loop at the bottom of the tank). The video they take of you was worth the purchase, I think everyone in our group bought a copy ($30 more). Only complaint my husband had was there were not enough showers in the men's locker room, so a few had to wait their turn for one.
Very glad we did this dive once. Given the cost and the time you are in the water, not sure if I would go again. At this time you receive a string bag as a souvenir, no t-shirts right now. Plan ahead and call to reserve your spot if you are a diver going to Disney in the future!

“Tons of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Pros: Friendly people, reasonably long dive, mingled with the fish. Something that was a pleasant surprise is that the fee for the dive goes to an environmental protection group.

Cons: A tad pricy (what is Disney s not?)
