Owner description: "Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions. It's easy to be cool while having fun in the sun at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park! While the park looks like a frosty ski resort—complete with a functioning Chair Lift, it's actually an action-packed water wonderland with exciting waterslides and attractions for the whole family.

“MY KIDS Favorite water park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

Family Ride here is my all time favorite ride. So fun! there is a ski lift to take you to the slides but the line is usually long you need to be in fairly good health to climb the mountain but even my 5 year old does it. This park has so much that younger kids can do and two specific sections for them. Its great. if you have teenagers get there the minute the doors open so they can do summit plummet and slusher gusher two huge drop slides that you go down one at a time. This is made like a ski slope and they play Christmas music. Very very fun! We get season passes even though we live in NC because its only $95 and that would only pay for 2 days...we go over and over in the 2 weeks we go to Orlando every year.

“Water Park Exellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This is an amazing water park that will keep you busy all day. If you have the bottle try Summit Plummit 120ft straight down but along with thrill slides there are also chill rides like the lazy river and beach area.

“The Whole Family Had a Blast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

My family went to the waterpark for the day and had a blast. We all loved it, including me, the reluctant mom who doesn't enjoy sitting around in a wet swimsuit all day, swimming in cold water and has some hang ups about the cleanliness of public pools and washrooms. I decided to suck it up because the kids wanted to go and was pleasantly surprised. We had a great time and the whole park including the washrooms were impeccably clean. I did not see any wet tissue stuck to floors, band aids or clumps of hair floating in the pool (YUCK!).

We went early in the day and the line ups were not too bad. In fact, many of the lines did not get past 15 minutes all day, except for Summit Plummet, Slush Gusher and the ski lift to the top of the park. We rode the ski lift early in the day, but then decided it was much faster to climb the stairs to the top. We climbed all the stairs and rode the slides before the people waiting for the chair lift even got to the front of the line. I will not lie -- it is a LOT of stairs!

My family enjoyed Teamboat Springs the most and rode it several times. It is a large water raft that can hold up to 6 people and you go down a rather large slide. It is fun because you can all spend time riding together. We actually all enjoyed all the slides. The only ones I didn't do were Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher and I enjoyed them all. Some you rode mats on your belly and some you rode in inner tubes. It was a blast.

We also enjoyed the wave pool and the lazy river. We spent from 9:30 am to 4 pm at the water park. It wasn't too busy nor was it extremely hot that day. The temperature of the water was pleasant!

We rented 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella on a sun deck with sand by the wave pool. We paid $40 for the day and it was well worth it. There are also patios for up to 6 guest, but they are over $300. The lounge chairs and umbrella were in a secluded area and you needed to have a arm band to get in. It was in a nice area and it was fairly shady and quiet. These need to be reserved in advance since there are only 5 available. They also provide you with 4 towels.

It was a great day and plan to return next visit -- the reluctant mom and all!

“Best waterpark I've been to”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

This is by far the most superior waterpark I've been to.

However, I'm annoyed that Disney charge extra to rent a "secluded" lounger but don't actually police people going in and out. This results in you being $50 lighter but watching others blithely come in and use the same loungers for free...
