Owner description: "Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one of 2 Water Parks in Walt Disney World Resort, features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family—like a kid-sized, snow-castle fountain play area with scaled-down versions of the more thrilling attractions. It's easy to be cool while having fun in the sun at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park! While the park looks like a frosty ski resort—complete with a functioning Chair Lift, it's actually an action-packed water wonderland with exciting waterslides and attractions for the whole family.

“Can't be beaten - great day out.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

We went in Mid October so long since the peak of summer and this was great because we got on all the rides with nothing more than a 15-20 minute wait and often much less. We had been to Typhoon Lagoon the day before which is also amazing and the rides here were even more adrenaline pumping, especially their long big drop water slide. i forget what it is called but it is well worth the queue. The lazy river is a good start to your day here as it gives you a good idea of the layout of the park before going off to find rides. We would definitely fit this into our schedule next time we are in Orlando.

“Snow in Florida????”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Loved the chair lift ride to the top of Mount Gushmore and the trip back down in the Teambot Springs family raft ride. Something for everyone, whether you like extreme waterslides or just floating round on the lazy river. Shame the weather was a bit cool.

“Great experience, tough on the feet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Blizzard Beach was a great experience for all ages. Our party had a group aged from 4 years old to 60 years old and there was plenty for all to do.

One down side, the pool floor was very course and caused lots of scraped feet and knees. Being that we were at Disney to walk the parks over the course of our vacation, the cut toes and feet were not appreciated and stopped us from returning.

“Summit Plummit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

This place is great for families and big kids like me. There is a section for toddlers, one for bigger children, a family section with a lazy river then the scary slides.
Summit Plummit is not for everyone but I could not go and miss a chance to try it and say i've done it. This is the highest slide in the world according to the sign. It is 125 feet drop! wow!
It is the best water park in the area.
