“not much to do but one heck of a roller coaster”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

So we took our 5 year old - and EVerest was the one roller coaster out of all the "theme" parks he could ride at 44 inches. He LOVED it. I liked the safari ride a lot - we saw all the animals. It was rainy - so we bought ponchos at walgreens before we went. NOt a lot of rides but the Dinosaur ride and the Everest Ride were WELL worth the whole day to our 5 year old. Highly recommend the fast pass for those rides. Otherwise, its a pretty park and you see some cool animals. You can do the whole park in about 5 hours.

“Must See”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

I am always amazed at what Disney creates and this park is no different. The Safari ride, mount everest coaster, dinosaur ride and the 4D show "it's a bugs life" are a must. When you day is done in the park then i recommend eating at the Rain Forrest Cafe which is on the way out.

“Very realistic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Considering the space restrictions, the way Disney presents the Animal Kingdom is very much reminiscent of my photo safari in Kenya. Its worth the visit, especially with family.

“Not just another "park"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is an "experience" not your typical amusement park. Yes, there are rides, but the focus is just what it says...."Animal Kingdom"....it's about the animals presented in natural environments. Africa and Asia...where can you visit two continents in one day? Authentic architecture and design transport you to another country in minutes. We have ridden the Everest Rollercoaster and Kali River Rapid Ride, enjoyed the live music and song from The Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo...but the memories from this park are the "animal experiences and encounters"....it's a different breed of park.....where else do you wait for a rhino to cross the path? This is a must for any visit to Orlando....it's all about the animals! Step out of the fast lane for the day.....!
