A lot of the 3D experiences are old and tired and really not up to today's technology savvy guests. I wouldn't bother waiting for E.T, Terminator and especially or Shrek or Twister.
Also, after we had waited for ages for the Dispicable Me parade, it finally arrived and some of the dancers that got off it, just stood around having a conversation. First of all with each other, then walked over to a cafe and a cafe worked walked out and then all 3 of them stood there having a gossip. Please see photos. I couldnt help but think, 'this would never have happened at Disney'
One of the few good things about Universal is the child swap option which allows some people in your party to queue and the others to go into a holding room with the pushchairs and then when the first group finishes, you are walked straight to the front of the queue.
To be honest, everyone in our party said that we wished we had never bothered going to Universal at all. Especially when we had Disney tickets, which far surpasses this resort. We only went because it is so legendary but I doubt this will be the case for much longer....
Please note, this does not stand for Islands of Adventure, which was brilliant. An added entry cost though.
