Just returned from our Florida holiday. Visited sea World for the day.
It's a great park with something for everyone. We have visited Sea World before (several years ago) and stiill really loved our day there.
As our visit to the park was for only one day, we purchased our tickets online from the Sea World site (it works out cheaper if you only intend to need a one day entry)
As with all theme parks - get there early! they close at 6pm this time of year.
We saw Pets Ahoy show, wasn't sure about it, but it was very entertaining, (dogs, cats mice, birds) try not to miss it.
Was abit disappointed with Dolphin Cove, they had roped off most of the area for vistors who wanted to pay and feed the dolphins - thats ok - it is a great expirence to feed and interact with the dolphins, but having done that on other visits we felt it abit unfair for those visitors who choose not to "pay and feed" and so could not get up close to the dolphins (something we had been able to do on previous trips)
The Blue Horizons show was really good, a mixture of music, humans and animals.
The sea lion & otter show was very, very funny. Get here early and enjoy the "mime warm up guy" as he "greets" late arrivals to the show - he is great laugh.
The Shamu Believe show we saw during the morning was good, as the park closes at 6pm, we made sure we got in line for the last shamu show at 5.45pm - but we were very disappointed - it was exactly the same show we had watched earlier! On previous visits the evening shamu show was something spectacular with the music, lights crowd and whale and trainer interaction. So my advice would be to check out if the last show is the same as the daytime ones - if so give it a miss and finish off seeing the rest of the attractions before the park closes.
Overall we really enjoyed our day, there is so much to see and do that you really won't be disappointed!
