Just returned from our Florida holiday. Visited sea World for the day.
It's a great park with something for everyone. We have visited Sea World before (several years ago) and stiill really loved our day there.
As our visit to the park was for only one day, we purchased our tickets online from the Sea World site (it works out cheaper if you only intend to need a one day entry)

As with all theme parks - get there early! they close at 6pm this time of year.
We saw Pets Ahoy show, wasn't sure about it, but it was very entertaining, (dogs, cats mice, birds) try not to miss it.
Was abit disappointed with Dolphin Cove, they had roped off most of the area for vistors who wanted to pay and feed the dolphins - thats ok - it is a great expirence to feed and interact with the dolphins, but having done that on other visits we felt it abit unfair for those visitors who choose not to "pay and feed" and so could not get up close to the dolphins (something we had been able to do on previous trips)
The Blue Horizons show was really good, a mixture of music, humans and animals.
The sea lion & otter show was very, very funny. Get here early and enjoy the "mime warm up guy" as he "greets" late arrivals to the show - he is great laugh.
The Shamu Believe show we saw during the morning was good, as the park closes at 6pm, we made sure we got in line for the last shamu show at 5.45pm - but we were very disappointed - it was exactly the same show we had watched earlier! On previous visits the evening shamu show was something spectacular with the music, lights crowd and whale and trainer interaction. So my advice would be to check out if the last show is the same as the daytime ones - if so give it a miss and finish off seeing the rest of the attractions before the park closes.

Overall we really enjoyed our day, there is so much to see and do that you really won't be disappointed!

SeaWorld is a great day out and a park that my kids like more than Universal and equal to Disney. The shows are great, especially Pets Ahoy! and Clyde and Seymour. Can't understand when people complain that sometimes animals don't perform, they aren't animatronic or CGI, they're real and you have to accept that. SeaWorld gives you the chance to touch rays and dolphins and see whales in the flesh, something which you may never see in your lifetime. It seems that the people who complain always seem to say that you'd be better off at Disney which sounds like they went to SeaWorld as a side trip to their Disney vacation looking for things to complain about so they can spend more time at the World. If you go with an open mind you will enjoy it. I read another review about the crammed conditions of the polar bears in Wild Arctic, that IS something that needs to be addressed. One of the bears did look to be suffering.

Hi
We have been home from our Orlando holiday for a couple of weeks( Best holiday destination in the world as far as we are concerned) .This year we did the Beluga Whale Interactive experience at Seaworld .Both my husband and i fell in love with Spooky the 1700 pound beluga whale ,she was so gentle with us yet playful .The trainers Nick & Patty at Seaworld were also brilliant and so was the educator Lauren.
We learnt so much about these wonderful shy creatures and then to swim with her in deep water was the most amazing experience as she kept beside us and jumped out of the water to show of f.(patty says that she they rarely jumped)
Anyone who was thinking of doing one of the seaworld experiences should do it . They are a bit expensive but amazing experiences. All the staff there are fab but the real stars are the animals.
We had a tear in our eye when it was time to say goodbye to Spooky but we went back again to see her in Wild Artic before we left and i swear she knew it was us .!! Just a fab experience

We went to Sea World on 11/3/06 and we could have spent several days there if not for other plans. We had the best time!
The rides, the cast members, the shows - all were fantastic and above expectations. This was by far the best thing we did on our trip. Kraken is the smoothest roller coaster I have ever been on.
We had a blast!!!! Felt that the money we paid was well worth it:-)

Just went to Sea World on 11/03/06 with two 3 year olds and one 8 month old and had a great time. You must get to the park as soon as it opens to even attempt to see it all. Our first show was Pets Ahoy. If you skip this show, you are really missing out on a great experience. The little ones really loved it too.
Blue Horizons was unique and very exciting for the whole group, a must see. We paid $10 for 6 fish and fed the dolphins at dolphin cove and got some great pictures. The Penguin encounter, Shark encounter, and Wild arctic offered some up close views of the animals. The last time we went to Sea World they had the Shamu Rocks America show and we absolutely loved it. Now Sea World has the Believe show and it was very disapointing. The park closed at 6PM and the last Believe show was at 5:45, so we missed out on many other attractions and shows to be able to get good seats for Believe, only to be let down. The show is very slow and the whales do not perform many tricks. Everyone goes to Sea World to see Shamu, so my advise is to see this show early in the day so you are not disapointed on the way back to the parking lot.
