We had such a great time. Arrived at SeaWorld 8:45 am. Had to wait till 9:00 am for the parking ticket booths to open but was about 15th in line. Got a great parking spot and headed for our first photo op, the lighthouse. Upon entrance we hit the bakery for our morning cup of coffee and the kids got strawberries with a side of chocolate dip, decadent! For lunch we made reservations at Shark Water Grill. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food a bit pricey but very very good. My sister and I got the salad, my toddler the pasta which they put a gummy shark on top to make it fun for the kids and my daughter got the snapper which was the best I tasted in a long time. After lunch we headed to the hospitatlity center for our free samples of beer. Thought they would be samples but you got a whole cup, and then proceeded to visit the horses. We fell in love with Prince and Bud. We did not do any shows as time flew by at Shamu Harbor. This was my second trip to Sea World and the first time my little one was tall enough for the rides.

It was our first time to Sea World and we thought it was just O.K. The highlight of the day was the Elmo and friends breakfast! The food was very good! eggs, potatoes, french toast sticks, watermelon & grapes, carved ham, bagels, danishes, dry cereal, etc. The characters(Elmo, bert, ernie, elmo, cookie monster, big bird & zoe) were wonderful! Awesome with the kids & cute singing & dancing! The abby & elmo show was also great! My 3 and 1 year old loved it! Believe & blue horizons were also great shows! The rest of the shows were just okay at best! It was extremely hot & very crowded by 12:00 My husband & I went on Atlantis, the drop is good, but it is a very short ride! I wouldnt wait any longer than 20 minutes for this ride. I dont think we will go back. Disney is way better! Not worth the money!

Once again i can find enjoyment in all parks, I dont see how you can't. SeaWorld is not for the thrill seekers although Kraken is one of the best rides ever (My favs: Kraken, Sheikra(BG), Tower of Terr (DIS), Expedition Everest(DIS),Gwazi(BG) to name a few) the shows are wonderful, the animals a great to watch and if you take your time and stroll it's a great place to visit. Shamu Rocks and Believe are great shows we always enjoy and I love the penguins. As with any park it has it's flaws some very long lines for many of the shows especially Shamu, so plan accordingly, but practice makes perfect, go a little later and parking is free nad the ride lines are so short that you can get on Kraken and Atlantis all your heart desirea and sit in the last row!!

“Polar bear exhibit in Wild Arctic attraction is deplorable”

The Wild Arctic attraction definitely has some potential---riding a helicopter simulator to the Arctic, and then "arriving" there and getting to roam about. I can imagine that Disney---though I'm not a particular fan---would have done a spectacular job in creating a realistic immersion experience.

Seaworld doesn't appear to possess the skill to impart the magic to the attraction. Much worse, being SeaWorld, they feel duty-bound to include living animals. What results is a case of misguided animal exploitation and frankly, abuse. All of the animals there but in particular the polar bear, are kept in too-small, dimly-lit exhibit spaces. The lone polar bear evoked nothing so much as a prisoner in solitary confinement. He seemed terribly depressed and was exhibiting a pathological repetitive scratching behavior the whole time.

Sea world for me was far superior than Disney for one reason ........... wait times. Even waiting with a fastpass is as slow if not slower than the time taken to que at Kraken 9am -11am or even 6pm -7pm. As for the park . 1 Believe wonderful show however slighty cheesy. 2 Kraken Stunning coaster if youve got a head for heights but torture if your not into that type of thing. 3 Atlantis scarier than you think but not in the same league as kraken. 4 clyde and seamore show. For me the best show in sea world, will make you laugh out loud but get in early otherwise youll be embarrased by the clown.by matt from east london
