“Fun spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

Opa is definitely a fun place to eat. If you're on a date or in a bday party this place will break the ice. Food is pretty good. Calamari is very tender and they give you huge rings. The hummus is good too but they go really heavy on the garlic. Sometimes it can be a little too loud so don't sit by the speakers.

“Nice to go once, will not go again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

We went to celebrate a special occasion, and were not disappointed, as the place ws what we expected. It puts you in mind of a beer hall in Munich. We were suprised that the food was ressonably well prepared for a tourist location. We had a hot and cold app platter that was enough to serve a table of 7. The greek wines were reaonably priced and were ok. The entrees were reasonably priced, and had good flavor and quanity. You must get there before 7, when the waiters throw napkin in the air and the dancing begins. Of course, being touristville, the photographer comes by and take a pic of the table and then tries to hawk it for $20 at the end of the meal. The service was attentive, although we always had to ask for water. Be aware, the place is too loud, and your ears will rings for about 1/2 hour after you leave./

“LOUD, party, maybe greek food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

LOUD is correct!! If you come here do not expect to be able to talk with anyone at your table. This is totally ok!! If you go into it expecting and wanting it! The energy and atmosphere are intense and dancing on a table in a large crowded restaurant is encouraged. I think this is an amazing place for mid to late teenagers to have a great time with friends and family. It is an attraction like most places in Orlando. However the food is not its best feature, although it carries many of the classic and some unique greek dishes it failed in execution on all 6 dishes ordered except one. The calamari tastes like a cheap freeze dried product. The souvlaki seemed like it missed the marination phase, and the lamb chops were tough. However the Octopus appetizer was beyond excellent, I would go as far to say it was probably the best prepared octopus I have ever eaten. Period. So go for a loud fun time but don't expect much from the food.

“Fun casual place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Authentic style Greek food in a casual fun atmosphere. Very good value, quick and attentive service. Not Chicago Greek Town but still very good. Not for a business dinner. Bit too loud and the belly dancer could put some people off. It was a good value and would be great during vacation.
