We're from Wisconsin, birthplace of the waterpark, and home to America's largest, so we know our way around the waterslides. Have to say that while Aquatica isn't the biggest, it is very well laid-out and has some very good rides. On the downside, it doesn't have any giant thrillers, and the wave pool is very tame. Surprisingly, the lazy river is anything buy lazy, it's high-speed, and a lot of fun, and quite warm on a cool day. Great variety of slides, and the two slides that have clear tubes through an aquarium with dolphins, rays and fish that you can see for a second is fun. You never have to walk barefoot for a mile, our feet didn't get chewed up, and we didn't get worn out from climbing stairs. Park was not at all crowded despite temps in upper 70's and bright sunny day-- bunch of wusses who think waterparks are no fun in the winter, I guess! We thought it was great, being at a waterpark in January, and were surprised it was even open, we hadn't been to Fla. in a while, and remembered some years ago the waterparks weren't even open at this time of year in any weather. The water was clearly heated, so if the weather's not too bad, you'll be able to slide a jillion times, it's a great time of year to go!
