“Cheapest and one of the best buffets in WDW”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

This buffet is the cheapest on Disney property (10-13 dollars cheaper than others) and one of the best. It offers great comfort food - - fried and grilled chicken, great ribs, baked potato bar, sundae bar, two soups, peel and eat shrimp, corn bread, salad bar, several other meet and fish choices and great apple cobbler (which is stationed right next to the ice cream!). Good food, good service – a hidden gem (it is in the back of Fort Wilderness – only accessible by boat or Fort Wilderness bus service).

“The best Value in Disney”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

This is my first review of what i consider the best dinner value in The entire disney empire. We have been visiting The Trails End restaurant for close to 30 years.Having camped at Fortwilderness campground many times with my family i decided to give it my thumbs up!.This place serves up what can be considerd old fashioned country buffet vittles.Starts with peel your own shrimp along with the salad bar. There is a choice of homemade tomato soup or chile.I could make a meal out of the chile. There is fried chicken,BBQ ribs that fall off the bone, served alongside a handcarved beef brisket.Biscuits, cornbread, corn on the cob and pizza that begs you to take a piece. There are many other fixen's that come along with the dinner. There is a make your own desert bar that is a favorite for the kids. The service is very kid friendly and will give you all the napkins you would want for this hands on kind of meal. When we go to the Magic Kingdom we always take our dinner break at the Trails End.We simply get on the boat and sail over to FortWilderness and have a nice meal before going back to the park,It is a nice break. But by all means do make reservations even if you show up early they will take you in but it makes it that much easier for the family when your after walking all day and your tired.

“Go Hungry”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

We went in the evening without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us. The waiter was helpful and we enjoyed the plentiful amount and many choices of food that were offered. The salmon was good, and also the chicken and the side dishes. It was nice to have cold salad after a long day and the homemade desserts were the highlight of the meal (well for me as I have a sweet tooth). One member of our group wasn't very hungry so it wasn't her favorite but if you are hungry and seek variety try this place, it's the same dishes offered at the Hoop De Vu Review but without the show.

“Meat & Potatoes (and More) Buffet...My Kinda Eats!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

Where to begin? For a “meat & potatoes” kinda guy like me, the Trails End Restaurant was close to Nivana. The selection of ribs, baked and fried chicken, hand carved beef brisket; large baked/jacket potatoes that you load yourself, fresh corn-on-the-cob and green beans cooked just right, cornbread, real sweet tea (and more) were all on my last meal wish list should I ever be sent to the electric chair. Oh, and did I forget to mention the fresh baked cookies, cobblers and other desserts? Then, they go and make it an all-you-can-eat buffet! The governor would have to give me a stay of execution just so I could finish eating.

“Best kept Secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

This resturant is in the Ft. Wilderness Campground. We never would have found it and felt like we were miles from Disney. The food is an all you can eat buffet with comfort foods. Country atmosphere, rustic and charming. While people waited for a restuarant next door that served the same food-since they share a kitchen and paid more, we were seated quickly and paid less. There is a bar, rocking chairs, hula hoops and checkers on the covered wrap around porch. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and attentive. I cannot get across how fun and relaxing this place was and cannot wait to get back! Great value for a Disney location. You will leave full.
