Stopped by on the way back to the motel for a seafood dinner. We were greeted immediately but had to wait fifteen minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables available. Another couple didn't want to wait and elected to seat themselves in the bar. I suspect the property was short staffed or waiting for another shift to arrive because we waited a while before our waitperson came to our table. Waiting for our order to come from the kitchen took what seemed like a longer than usual time. Upon service, the warm dinner rolls and fresh salads were very enjoyable. Shrimp is always a winner for an entree. The stuffed flounder was moist and tender. The fish & chips, however, left something to be desired; overcooked fish, hard, dry fillet. The fries (chips) were from a fry vat that had already cooked a hundred other orders; greasy and oily tasting. Sad, because that was what I ordered. Kudos to our waitress, as I suspected she was scrambling to make her tip. She earned it!!
