“Soulless barn of a place with loud music and average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW via mobile

Tough dry steak with nothing to write home about. Service average. Food possibly some of the worst I've had in USA. Music was loud and we were sitting well away from it. Would never go back or recommend

“Not Even Close”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2015 NEW

We stopped in Cowboys in Okeechobee to see if its good like the Ft Pierce Cowboys. Not very busy, Took 25 mins to even get drinks. We all ordered the all you can eat babybacks.

YUK
All 4 orders were cold. The ribs were not smoked, more like broiled with bbq sauce on them. My friends cole slaw was nasty tasting, my wifes potato salad was sour tasting.

The second round of ribs were hotter but i did not eat. IMHO this was a waste of $ and I give a low rating.

We will not be back

“Good food and quality service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2015

Excellent service. The food was great. Hardy portions. Outside seating has a good view. I had the brisket. I would say, "best in town"! Everywhere else i have ate brisket in Okeechobee is dry or not fresh.

“Great food, awesome service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2015

on my recent visit to Okeechobee we ate twice at Cowboys. Food is fresh, great place to chat and ha e a cocktail. Service is friendly, fast and they will not rush you no matter how crowded can be. We ordered from Mahi Mahi to steak sandwiches. We all agree in the great flavor. Sweet potatoe fries are a killer!

“Save your money there are better places”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2015

Took the wife there for ladies night -- Her Burger was way over cooked - I had the Brisket on a pretzel roll -- Tasteless beef - doubt it was smoked at all - Roll was like a Clay Bird (dry as a bone) Then to top it off we went to the bar _ Ladies night !! Ladies Drink Free -- Well all her drinks were on the bill !!! Go to Lunkers or Lightseys -- Cowboys is a big thumbs down!
