“Great Deli”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

Go to TooJay's often, and really like the place. Good food, good value for the portions you get, and everyone leaves happy. We really like the beef brisket dip, the frank and fries and the open face turkey.

Never had a bad experience with service, we will be back.

“Good lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

Visiting Orlando and looking for Jewish style deli as there are non where we live in Pennsylvania. At 2pm the place was empty, very clean. I ordered 1st cut corned beef on rye, ok, portions kind of small compared to NY deli, very tasty, fresh rye bread very good. My wife ordered tongue on a roll, she enjoyed very much. My granddaughter ordered chicken fingers, stated best she ever had (she's an expert when it comes to chicken fingers). Overall good experience, good service, attentive wait staff, and caring manager who took the time to come over to our table to ask if everything was alright.

“June 15 visit unsatisfactory”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

Inattentive waitress 'forgot' to put the noodles in the chicken 'noodle' soup which was ordered because this 'New York' style deli was out of Matzo ball soup. Soup went back to the kitchen and returned 10 minutes later with noodles, but lukewarm.
Second issue was that someone else's order was delivered to my husband, returned and correct order delivered.
The cheese blitzes, which the menu stated came with sour cream and fruit sauce, came on a plate with nothing. Waitress then brought sour cream (not real - more of a frosting) and a dish of Ocean Spray type jellied cranberry sauce.
This is not the first time we have eaten here, but this was the worst experience.

“Good Food, Bad Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2014

We eat a Toojays often, mainly because some of our friends like it. Every time we dine, we wonder why the BIG wait for our food??? It doesn't matter when you dine or what you order - be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. Our last visit we waited 40 minutes before we even saw a bowl of Matzo ball soup. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, especially the Matzo ball soup, but nothing is worth a 40 minute wait. Their chopped liver is delicious, so is their tuna salad, pastrami and Rye bread. This is basic Deli decor with very good food, iffy staff and so-so service.

“Beef Brisket at its Best !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

We came here on Tuesday 4/01/14 at noon and as u can guess the place was packed. We had the open Beef Brisket sandwich w/ brown mushroom gravy. We had the potato pancakes instead of the fries they were served w/ applesauce and sour crème. The Brisket was piled 3 " over the slice of rye bread Wow ! It was a feast. The service was fairly good considering that the place was packed to the gills. The 2 dinners came to $19.18. We went a few miles out of our way because the food is so good here, it is like sitting down to Grandma's house for Sunday Dinner.....
