This was my third visit to Bonefish Grill over the past 12 months. This gives me a good perspective on the consistency of food quality and service. The friendliness and attentiveness of the waitstaff is still consistently excellent. The food quality is slipping a bit. The fish in my fish and chips basket was soggy and not completely fried to crispiness. This to me is an indication of the frenetic pace of the kitchen staff to get the food out quickly, or too quickly in my case. On the opposite end of the spectrum, my partner's grilled scallops and shrimp were overdone on the shrimp. We have never experienced inconsistency in our food preparedness and quality until our last visit. I have always considered Bonefish Grill a slightly elevated version of Red Lobster for snobs. Now that their food quality has slipped to the level of Red Lobster, I'll save a few bucks next time and visit Red Lobster.
