Just returned from our trip to the gulf. Had a great time the weather was wonderful. The Sail Resort has a great location right on the beach, can't be beat, the grounds are extremely well maintained and clean, thats the good. However, the rooms are not so well maintained. Old furniture, very worn carpet, loud air conditioners (we had to turn it off to watch tv), dirty filters in the air conditioners, no bath extras (soap, shampoo, etc), and very scratchy and old towels. With all that said I could live with that because I didn't come to Florida to spend time in a motel room. The only thing that got me was the added $10 per day to have a visitor. I was not sure what that covered and was not told about it until we were already there. All and all had a great stay but will probably not stay there again.

Here now. This is my first night and I absolutely love it so far. Right on the beach. Nice rooms. Nice pool. No downfalls! Can't beat the price either. So far I am extremely happy with everything. It is very quiet as well. Seems to be mostly older people which is fine with me and my boyfriend, that's exactly what we want.

This place was right on a quiet beach and a perfect place to watch a sunset. The water isn't as clear as Clearwater, but a lot less crowded. Clearwater beach was 10 or 15 minute drive away. No amenities are added, not even soap. Bring whatever you need. Our room had living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with a double and twin bed and was $92 per night. It was clean and bed weren't too bad. Pool was just a pool, but provide a nice place to sit around and talk. I would recommend it. If you looking for a true resort, keep looking. If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the gulf, this is your place.

Stayed for a week, super people, perfect room, very clean, great vacationers all seem like family, 5 families already booked for next year while we were there, great time at a very reasonable price, A big thank you.
