Husband and I enjoyed breakfast there yesterday. The place was crowded and we waited perhaps 5-7 minutes for a table. No problem. Good sign, actually that they were busy. The breakfast menu includes waffles, blintzes, and crepes, among other things. Anyhow, husband ate light, ordering the oatmeal with brown sugar; it was a nice size bowl. I ordered the breakfast special, which was priced about $7.25 if I recall and included 2 eggs; ham, sausage or bacon; grits or homefries; toast, small juice and coffee. I chose the ham and grits. Ham was a large slice and grits were very good. I liked that the toast was rye and wheat, one slice of each. So nice not to get white bread toast. The restaurant was a good value, service was quick, friendly and efficient. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the coffee -- way too weak. They either need to find another coffee purveyor or double the amount used to brew.
