“You will be sorry if you miss RC's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013 via mobile

We visited this restaurant twice while we were at South Seas. All of us enjoyed our food very much at a fair price. They have live music during both lunch and dinner. We will go back next year

“Cozy stop on Captiva Island”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

The Mucky Duck was WAY too crowded at sunset, so we opted for RC Otters just down the block. No waterfront views, but outdoor patio seating and relaxing live music. I had their Crunchy Fish Basket (which was grouper) and most delicious for $12.99. Would definitely recommend...just don't take the table on the patio next to the Ring on a String & Hook game. People will stand their and swing that thing and nearly hit you all through your dinner. Great idea to amuse all ages (and I do mean ALL ages), just not amusing for us diners at the closest table to it:). Still, great food and great service. Prices very competitive too especially on semi-ritzy Captiva.

“What a nice find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

I gave it an excellent review because of the service. We didn't have a chance to eat here, but we stopped in for a drink and listen to a nice musician, after we walked in from viewing the sunset. We told the hostess that we would only be having a drink(s) and they welcomed us, seated us and had a drink in our hand before we know it. The musician (sorry don't know his name) played well and was a lot lower tone that the more boisterous group across the street. Nothing wrong with that, it's just that we were in the mood for what O.C's had to offer that night. The place is clean, fresh with brightly bahamian colors. It had a Key West atmosphere. Walk in right off the street. It's within walking distance to other establishments.

“Charming place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

We stayed at Captiva inn and had free breakfast here both mornings.you get a huge plate full!
We also ate dinner here 2 nights. We had. The corn flake battered grouper and it was delicious ! Hubby had it both nights. The only thing we didn't like was the open air dining allows smoking, quite a turn off when eating.

“Great beer,”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

Our son decided that this would be a great place to hang out, so we sat outside and listened to the live music, a varied menu and a great choice of beer which my son and husband enjoyed.

We choose a plate of shrimp to share followed by a grilled salmon and a meet loaf for each of the boys. Not overly impressed by the food which I felt was pricey based on the quality, however the boys impressed upon the need to say how good he beer was and how much they enjoyed it.

In summery a low key place to hang out not convinced I would go back.
