My husband and I brought our 10 and 12 year-old daughters here for a long weekend in November and all four of us had a great time. We really didn't know what to expect, but the island is just beautiful. We saw so much wildlife and on the suggestion of Andrew, our manager/waiter/tour guide, we took the kayaks out to the sandbar where there were tons of sand dollars, conchs and fish. We saw dolphins in the bay and so many birds (ospreys, bald eagles, great blue herons). The shells all over the beach are unbelievable. Our house was perfect and right on the beach. The food at the restaurants was great and James, our chef/bartender/football game provider, made the best blackened fish sandwich I've ever had. The staff was always friendly and willing to help out with whatever you needed.

This was the perfect place for some relaxing "family time" and a lot of nature. We will definitely return!

We enjoyed a wonderful home, magnificient views, beach walks, diving dophins, new friends, delicious food, beautiful days with fresh air and sunshine followed by starry nights and restful sleep. We will be back soon.

We had a wonderful experience at the North Captiva Island Club Resort. The accomodations and facilities were superb. It was the peaceful, laidback, beautiful and quiet resort we had been looking for. The Club staff and the partner company'sPalm Island Taxi and Island Girl Charters) staff were kind, extremely helpful and professional. We are already planning a return trip for spring 2010 and have shared our excellent experience with fiends and collegues. Our resort home was extremely comfortable and the private pool and spa completed the perfect setting for a our getaway. The beautiful floral island and empty white sand, shell laidened beaches completed an amazing experience. Get there as soon as you can, but please don't tell too many people about this Island, we want to keep it just like it is!

This was the absolute, perfect place to get away and gain a better perspective on life. It's so peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. There are 3 restaurants on the island and other than that, there is nowhere to go and nothing to do..which is a GREAT thing! The people there are really nice. On the island, you will not find cars, police or stress. All travel is by foot or golf cart. Plan on laying in the sun, playing in the ocean, shelling, reading, losing your sense of direction while walking the island, gazing at the stars, and enjoying the simple life (of luxury though!)
