We only stayed here overnight before our cruise. As soon as I walked in I was hit with a musty smell. Granted, it had been raining all day, but still. The room was ok but definitely could use new carpets, upgrade the bathroom, etc. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was very nice with a good variety. The coffee was strong! The attached restaurant, Shuckers, was pretty good too!

Room Tip: Upper floor with a room by the deck overlooking the pool.

Let me start with the positives about this hotel. The rooms were fairly large and clean. Breakfast was fairly good for continental. The pool looked nice but we didnt get a chance to go in as it was raining.

Negatives are, they gave us a room at a different wing of the hotel which we had to walk outside of the lobby in the pouring rain and blasting wind with our suitcases and no one helping us. I mean why would you give us a room that was so difficult to get to when you know it's raining like crazy and didnt even offer help. I would have even been happy with, "We are so sorry but this is the only room available. would you like help with your suitcases?". The location was not the best, yes the marina is pretty but this hotel is close to nowhere. There is not really any restaurants around or shops. You will have to take 1 or 2 buses to get anywhere.
Overall, It wouldnt be so bad to stay for one night layover but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay at this hotel.

We stayed at the Bay Inn and Marina for 2 nights before taking our cruise. Very nice room, spacious enough and clean. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the bay, nice getting up in the morning to sunshine and having a cup of coffee out there before starting our day. Conveniently located and easy access to the bus stop to head to the beach and shopping. We had a nice meal in the restaurant downstairs and cocktails as well. Staff was very helpful and informative as it was our first time to Miami. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus before heading out to the beach and before our cruise. If we go back to Miami, we are 99.99% sure we'd stay there again. It was quiet, the grounds were neat and clean. No need to stay in a big fancy hotel at double or triple the price when you have a little gem like this in Miami to lay your head.

if you are looking for good hotel not far from downtown and beach area then this is it. On main bus route to all landmarks but has a free car park good on sight resteraunt (typical american sports bar) and free airport shuttle. Usual high great western standards which we cant fault for the price you pay.

Room Tip: we paid for a harbour view dont bother they overlook the sports bar which is open till 0100 noise w...

This hotel is close to Miami Beach, in a quiet and pretty neighbourdhood, with restaurants and some marts and gas stations. The two building arei by the bay and the views from the balconys at the west building are magnificent (you have to reserve a king or doble queen balcony bay view) specially on sunrise and evening dask.
The pool in OK, facing the bay and its views. The gym is at the east building, is a little space with four machines.
Parking and breakfast are complementary; the last one is a continental style with eggs and waffles. The coffee is good and is available all day long.
The rooms are wide, with a flat on 32", refrigerator and micro. The bathroom has a tub. The beds are comfortable and the hole room is cleanliness.
The front desk staff is very helpfull.
The prices are better at Tripadvisor than in the hotel website.
This hotel deserves a next stay!

Room Tip: The best rooms are the "king or double queen, balcony, bay view" at the west building

Stayed at the best western september 11th weekend, of course it's not a 5 star but at least make me feel like it's one. The room was nice and clean, but at check out the service was very poor...they act like they don't want to be on their jobs. Management sucks!!!! I would stay there again...Hopefully they will have a new set of staff and management overall nice property!!
