“Mother's day saved!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

This place was nice, not too fancy, just nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our meal and our server Katie was very attentive and sweet. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Baby back ribs were tender, blackened swordfish-tasty, fried haddock - large portion and great taste, fried shrimp-very good. This saved Mother's Day for my family. The staff even helped with pictures after our meal. The prices were about the same as red lobster. The only disappointment was the waterfront view. Maybe an earlier reservation would have put us on the water! We will be visiting again

“outstanding staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

Food was not fancy but that is exactly what we were after--we wanted seafood we could taste that was not overly dressed with sauces or spice. We had one order of grilled grouper and one of salmon. Both were perfectly done and very generous servings--enough to take some home. The "waterfront view" is limited but still, the light coming through the wall of windows and the water and greenery that you see from the dining room are a nice touch and give the place some atmosphere.

Every single staff member was courteous and gave us the feeling they wanted us to enjoy our visit. We each had a drink at "happy hour" prices which were quite a bargain--this was a pleasant surprise when we got the bill

We would certainly go here again.

Hadn't eaten at the place in years, last time didn't leave a good impression. Sorry to say, it hasn't changed in the 7 years since we ate there last. The "roasted duck" was covered in orange marmalade, which ruined what should have been some nice crispy skin and made it cloyingly sweet, almost like a desert duck! Not good.. Salads were a very rough chop, my wife actually had about a 1/3rd of a red onion sitting in her salad! She ordered seared tuna, which while it was passable, it certainly wasn't seared, more like sushi. The rice mix on her plate was a weird combination of rice, spinach and onions. The rice very soft and tasted like it had been in a steam table for hours. Spinach and rice isn't a great flavor combination, we've never seen that before.

Service was very good...the only real bright spot of the evening!

“Service saved the day”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2012

We decided to eat somewhere close to where we were staying. Let me start by saying our waitress was awesome I felt horrible for her though because the food was terrible and overpriced. We started with the greek sampler. It was supposed to come with garlic bread our bread had little to no garlic and some pieces were burnt. Next came our salads. The ranch salad dressing was watery with no taste what so ever. The steak came out I ordered mine medium which should have some pink but it came out rare, our waitress apologized and returned it to the kitchen where the cook looked put out over having to grill the steak more. It was rubbery and I could only eat a few bites of it. Big waste of money.

“I agree. Do not believe thes ratings!”

The food was simply not that good. My coconut shrimp was over cooked. The draft beer was served in small mugs, but with a 12oz price. The kabobs did not appear to be grilled. No one in our party of 5 was impressed.
