We visited Ophelia's for the first time recently and enjoyed ourselves. We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. It was longer than normal for a server to come to our table and take our drink order, but we were in no hurry. After some confusion about the 2 for 1 drink special, things went smoothly. The menu has a huge number of inviting offerings, and it was difficult to decide what to order. My wife had the honey ginger salmon special from the early-bird menu. She enjoyed the mashed sweet potatoes but the salmon was cut thin and was drier than it should have been. I had the Mediterranean shrimp and scallops on angel hair pasta, and it was huge and quite tasty, and importantly, was steaming hot when served. The clam chowder that accompanied the entree was thick and delicious, but not quite hot enough for me. The bread was OK, nothing special. The highlight of the meal was the bread pudding; wow, how delicious can it get! We shared a piece and enjoyed it thoroughly. The restaurant is a bit of drive for us, so I don't know if we will be back, but if the opportunity presents itself, I would like to and try another one of the tempting entrees on the menu and have another piece of the bread pudding!
