“One-of-a-kind experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

I love taking visitors here since the water is always flowing and chilled. You walk about a mile and a half and once you've reached the end it is time to jump in. Bring a floatie if you don't feel like swimming or if you are bringing children make sure you can respond if one gets pulled under by the current (flow of the water really, but it is strong for inexperienced swimmers). You also have to be aware of trees the are sitting at the bottom of the water on the sand because if you have your legs dangling down you could hit them. Wonderful experience and great times! The best thing about it is that it's free! You can even watch the turtles from the bridge. Cute!

Nice walkway through the wetlands of Turkey Creek. Forget it if you want to watch natur and animals. People use it as a jogging path and kids like to float with their plastik toys in the water.

“lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

This is a great place to go to get a good overview of the north Florida area. Its great for walkers, level wooden surface with distance marked off. Children and teens love to go there to swim r tube in the creek as have many gerations before them. We always take our out of time visitors there and many ask to go back again.

“Turkey Creek”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Turkey Creek is the place to go if you want a nice relaxing walk while you enjoy nature. There is a nice wide wooden walkway that goes along the Turkey Creek. Enjoy seeing turtles sunning themselves on logs, beautiful birds, squirrels jumping trees, etc. You can take a break and sit on the benches along the way. There are swimming spots and frequently you will see canoes and kayaks going down the stream. A great place to visit!
