Blackbeards doesn't take reservations, but my family of four was pretty hungry and wanted to wait the estimated 45 minutes to be seated, rather than go somewhere else. We were actually seated after closer to an hour, but since we had gotten on the list before six we were given the Early Bird pricing, which was unexpected and pleasing. The salad bar was great, with a delicious tomato based chowder and a variety of fresh vegetables, some cole slaw, potato salad and pasta salad as well. Service was prompt, with hot, sweet cinnmon rolls served just prior to the entree arrival. They are available for separate purchase and we took some with us for the next morning, though we weren't charged for them. The entrees were serve hot and to order, and the meal was substantial. The Early Bird is restricted to one trip to the salad bar, but more would have been wasted.
We definitely recommend this stop!
