During our last visit to Blackbeard's Inn for New Year's Eve, 2007, both my husband and my prime rib were overcooked. The Baked potatoes were smaller this year too. The service was great and very attentive despite the overcrowded dining room. Next time we visit we will demand the correct doneness of the prime rib or we'll return them to the kitchen for a replacement. This action is only fair for the money one pays and the wait one experiences (45 minutes usually).
We hope that Blackbeards does not rest on its laurels and success and ups its quality by next year!
