That's more like awesome burgers with a great view of the beach and an IPA on tap...how can that be bad? Service was good, but harried by the crowd. This is a busy place and great for lunch or an evening drink. I'd steer clear for dinner for two, but would not hesitate to bring my family back whenever. It will be on my itinerary for our next NSB visit.
Too croweded, ok food for pub grub.
We go down to NSB every winter and The Breakers is where we go for great drinks and burgers. . . The Burgers are so good I find myself wanting them in the summer! Beautiful views and great seats and the atmosphere is awesome. If you go to New Smyrna you HAVE to visit the Breakers.
Wow! No matter where you sit you've got a window seat, and you are literally on the beach! The corn nuggets are amazing! The blackening seasoning is sooo good, you've got to buy a bottle to take home with you! Go through the week & you'll have a better chance of snagging a seat :)
Was in New Smyrna Beach July 14 - 21. Visited Breakers on our last day of vacation. It was blazing hot that week with little ocean breeze, so we were a little unsure of going to a place with no A/C. We got lucky since a storm had just past and there was a great breeze. Got oceanfront seats. First time in all of our visits getting them. Nice people moved so we could all sit together. Our burgers were great, as always and I tried their specialty drink, "Sex on the Beach". Wow, they don't hold back on the alcohol. While were were there a huge storm blew through. It rained so hard you couldn't hardly see the beach. It even hailed, made for some memorable times. My daughter's boyfriend said it was his favorite restaurant for the entire trip. Our bill was a little high for just burgers, but it was vacation. Also, our waitress was sweet and very attentive. Try this place if you get a chance.
