“Really lovely !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

I probably would've stayed by the beach, but prices were too much for the big resorts, so I thought that overlooking a lake might be nice too and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The hotel is absolutely beautifully kept, clean and modern with nice staff. Booking a lake view room is a must or you'll be overlooking a carpark and shopping centre - when you open your balcony doors to the lake, pool and fountains and surrounding greenery it's a total pleasure. To relax there in the evening sun is a must. Vanderbilt beach is not far, but a bit of a walk - I hired a bike which was lovely as there are cycle paths all the way and in Florida temperatures this was very pleasant and gave you a sense of freedom. The hotel does run a free shuttle bus also. I'm not a breakfast person, and usually when there is a free breakfast it's not worth going to but this was not the case at all. Breakfast was awesome - all kinds of everything - definately something for everyone and a chef to cook fresh omelettes if that's your knid of thing - all served on the terrace by the pool which makes it a great way to start the day. I'm usually swayed by location, but Naples is a very spread out place, so no matter where you stay, you'll have to drive to visit the different parts of the town and the different beaches, so you might as well take advantage of what Pelican Bay has to offer. One warning is that they say you've paid up front for everything, but then add a $10 per day resort fee and add tax even if you've booked through an agent. That said, the price was still very reasonable for the quality you got. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Book a lake view room for the evening sun & views

Very good location off Vanderbuilt less than a mile from the beach. Nice free breakfast provided each morning. No restaurant at hotel but they are close to many local restaurants. Shuttle to beach but it does not run that often instead of running constantly back and forth. Pool is clean but quite small for a hotel. Rooms are spacous for the price and the value is good for this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms facing pool have a terrace that is nce. Elevator is noisely so ask for a hotel away from eleva...

Naples Florida is a very busy city in season , but when you arrive at the Inn at Pelican Bay you can forget about the eight lanes of traffic outside and relax. Or room was spotless , very comfortable and inviting. There is a self serve breakfast in addition to a staffed omelet station. Unlike many hotels that offer a "breakfast" this one was very appealing with constant attention paid to replenishing and straightening up. Although there is no restaurant, there is a bar open each night in the very attractive lobby area. Poolside is delightful and there is a trolley that will take you to Vanderbuilt Beach, one mile away. Rates are competitive, we used an online promotion. If we decide to go to busy Naples again, we would gladly return to the Inn.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the third floor or above facing the lake.

We stayed at the "Inn" the 10th -12 of march and found the hotel clean, convienient (just up from the Ritz) and with a friendly staff -in partiular a gentleman named Drew. The hotel had a fairly nice breakfast with an an omlet station included with a 10.00$ service charge which was in addition to the rather high 299.00 price/night for what I would consider a Comfort Inn style hotel. We stayed in room 218 and it had a very noisey room air conditioner which the front desk "appoligized" for and a bathtub shower that drained very slowly. Ok- but not for the price.

Room Tip: Try to get aroom with a quiet air conditioner

We just loved the inn at pelican bay. Great place, great location just off us 41 and just a short drive from old naples. Great beach within walking distance, and the hotel do offer a shuttle service as well. The room was great, the staff very pleasant and the hotel was well kept. Nice little pool area and great breakfast. This hotel is less pricey than the area in general, and really good value. We are defenitely staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up without "palmtree" view. All balconies are facing the pool and lake...

My wife, children, and I recently drove to Naples from our town of Palm Coast, FL to visit family. From the moment we arrived at The Inn at Pelican Bay we fell in love with this hotel. The service is impeccable, as well as the accommodations. All we could talk about on the way home is 1. How much we love Naples and are considering moving there. 2. How wonderful The Inn is.
We are certain to return soon, and we know where we are staying.

We enjoyed our second stay here and plan to stay on our next trip to Naples. The location is centrally located to Mercato, Vanderbilt Beach, 5th Ave. and 3rd St. We found the hotel clean, quiet with friendly staff. The front desk personnel were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was always clean when we came back from our complimentary breakfast, which was delicious. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.
