“Pelican bay - the perfect vacation spot.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We just loved the inn at pelican bay. Great place, great location just off us 41 and just a short drive from old naples. Great beach within walking distance, and the hotel do offer a shuttle service as well. The room was great, the staff very pleasant and the hotel was well kept. Nice little pool area and great breakfast. This hotel is less pricey than the area in general, and really good value. We are defenitely staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up without "palmtree" view. All balconies are facing the pool and lake...

My wife, children, and I recently drove to Naples from our town of Palm Coast, FL to visit family. From the moment we arrived at The Inn at Pelican Bay we fell in love with this hotel. The service is impeccable, as well as the accommodations. All we could talk about on the way home is 1. How much we love Naples and are considering moving there. 2. How wonderful The Inn is.
We are certain to return soon, and we know where we are staying.

We enjoyed our second stay here and plan to stay on our next trip to Naples. The location is centrally located to Mercato, Vanderbilt Beach, 5th Ave. and 3rd St. We found the hotel clean, quiet with friendly staff. The front desk personnel were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was always clean when we came back from our complimentary breakfast, which was delicious. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.

A moderate sized hotel in the 'newer' part of Naples, FL. A self-service approach (deal with your own luggage and substantial parking lot in front of hotel. Overlooks lake in rear (shuttle available for beach excursion. Rooms quite large and nice with small balcony overlooking lake. Lobby, reasonably sized with porch and interior seating in rear lobby area. Breakfast, included in rate, was nice. Self service except for cook making omeletes.
Tables with umbrella at lower rear area overlooking the lake.
Front desk staff very helpful and courteous.

Inn at Pelican Bay is very well located, in close proximity to beautiful Vanderbilt Beach, as well as elegant shopping, dining (among others, the latest Naples' hot hub for entertainment-Mercato) and more.
Overall, the hotel is pretty well maintained. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. Wasn't too impressed with the way bathroom is laid out. There is no towel rail near the vanity sink (they are in the toilet/bathtub area), which I found inconvenient.
I'd recommend taking a lake view room, though. Ours was facing the parking lot and it got noisy in the morning on certain days. Also, despite the fact our room was several doors away from the elevator, the up and down echo was very noticeable and rather annoying.
The breakfast service and selection were usually pretty good (one weekend it was not so good). An omlette station and a waffle maker were good additions.
The hotels backs onto a small lake with a fountain. That side also has a nice patio with a swimming pool and a whirlpool. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool or in the "spa" area.
The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the Vanderbilt beach. It takes and picks guests up almost every hour, so no need to worry about finding a parking spot by the beach.
Another good thing about this hotel is free WiFi service in rooms and out.
Overall, comparing to other Naples hotels, I consider Inn at Pelican Bay a very decent place to stay providing good value for your money.
Will stay there again for sure.

Room Tip: Choose a lake view room. Most if not all, have balconies, nice view and should be quieter.

I have stayed here multiple times over the years. The service is fantastic, the location is great, one mile jog to Vanderbilt Beach when I got here. There is a new seasonal omelet station included in the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious, plenty of parking, walk across the street to Mercato, a Naples hotspot of Dining, Entertainment and Shopping. I will be back.

This is my second time staying here and each time I am very impressed with the gracious public spaces - the lobby, breakfast area and pool. Front desk was helpful and upgraded us to a larger room with a view of the lake, and gave us complimentary museum passes as well as made change for meters for the beach. Housekeeping came very late though - around 330 or 4 and there was no turn down service and I had to ask for additional soaps which were delivered. Only real down side is the need for rooms to be refreshed - wallpaper is stained and peeling, tiles are broken and the bedding is old and pilled. Pillows weigh a ton and are very hard. Otherwise, the room was spacious and had a fridge and microwave as well as a coffeemaker. Great location and free parking.
