“Amazing Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

My wife and I just returned from another wonderful stay at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort. The room was amazing and it had a tremendous Gulf view. The entire staff at the Vanderbilt and the Turtle Club Restaurant bent over backwards to make our stay the best ever. We had such a great time, we have booked rooms for an entire family vacation later this year.

Our family reunion is celebrated every year at this wonderful hotel over Father's day weekend.
This year we had a total of 35 family members in both the condos across the street on the bay and the studios on the beach. We stayed on the beach side in rooms 40, 42, 44,46 and 48. and the condos in rooms 304 and 404 so we had the end units. As always, rooms were great, beach service by Shawn was excellent and the staff were gracious. This hotel is a wonderful place to go if you want to walk out of your room and down to the beach. It is closeby to everything and the restaurant downstairs is excellent. I cannot recommend enough. We will be there again next year.

Room Tip: Choose any room on the beach side. The website has the room map. If you have a big family, splurge...

Just two nights but Oh My! Our room on the first floor was ideal just across from the garden.
Dinner at the Turtle Clue on the beach at sunset was outstanding. Unfortunately we had cold rainy weather until the day we left. Will be back soon since it is a short 2 hour drive from Miami. Thank you to Andy for all you help.

I rented a room at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort with 3 other people who were also racing at an event a few blocks from this hotel. The room we were given was much better than even the pictures showed on the website. Having 2 bedrooms and a pullout we had plenty of sleeping area for all four of us. We used all the space available including the wrap around porch, the big and well equipped kitchen and the dining room. I would highly recommend this property for any trip to the Naples area.

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor and had great views of the gulf and a bay.

This is the kind of place that reminds you of old Florida but, mind you, it's better with a friend, loved one, or group. I went alone and, since there are two queen beds and a full kitchen in each room, it really just seemed sad not to share it...hat's a lot of room going to waste. I would have to say that the only bad thing about the rooms are the lack of PERSONAL balconies and of privacy in the dressing area; if you want to change, you must close all the windows and turn on the lights, even in the middle of the day.

The restaurant, The Turtle Club, didn't provide extensive hours but I understand they are working on that so, maybe room service will be available one day. Either way, eating RIGHT on the beach, and often, with your toes in the sand, is the way to go! It doesn't hurt that they have wonderful food and service and an extension of the fantastic personnel that VBR is known for.

I love the beach seating but when I tipped the guy (not Sean) for good service and was there for a chair bright and early, it took half the day to get a towel and an umbrella up, and I never did get a table or drink flag. The resort IS right next to the public beach access however, it seemed constrained to that immediate area and everyone behaved nicely, it seemed.

The staff is lovely and helpful from the front desk to the valet! Superb location and a pretty festive beach. right next to the public beach access and the Ritz Carlton offered pretty diverse crowds and the sunsets were unmatched! I love how everyone claps when the sun completes setting. I plan to return again and again.

Room Tip: Go with a friend and rent a car; lots to see and do but, don't forget to golf, spa, and spend a...

We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort. Our daughter was getting married at the Ritz which was just a walk away. All the Vanderbilt staff was so helpful, from the front desk, housekeeping to the cabana boy on the beautiful beach. The rooms were well kept and very clean. Also the beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.
You can sit in lounge chairs at the beach under an umbrella and enjoy the beach, than walk up to the Turtle Club restaurant for lunch or dinner. In the evening we sat and watch the beautiful sunset. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: The rooms on the gulf are nice

You cant stay closer to the beach than this hotel.
Nice small hotel. Nice rooms, fantastic restaurant right at the beach.
Free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach.
10 minutes drive to Naples downtown which is the most beautifull downtown I have ever seen!
